Makes tooth brushing pleasant
Most toothpastes have a chalky kind of consistency, and this is a clear gel. It coats your mouth and your teeth in seconds and does not have any sharp taste or fragrance. It makes your mouth feel clean and like you can eat or drink something soon afterwards without worry of a clash of tastes in your mouth.

I noticed a difference after one use.

The brown stains on the back of my teeth are gone!
I ordered this Niacinamide Whitening Toothpaste because my three favorite foods are dark chocolate, diet cola, and cold black tea. I am also a former smoker. For various reasons I have never had my teeth professionally cleaned. Suffice it to say that any product proposing to remove stains or whiten teeth would have a real challenge when it comes to my teeth. The first thing that I will mention about this toothpaste is that it has an odd name. When I first read the word Niacinamide in its name, I wondered if this toothpaste had nicotine in it.I looked the word Niacinamide up. I learned that another name for Niacinamide is Nicotinamide. How interesting! I decided to investigate Niacinamide a bit more.It turns out that Niacinamide, also known as Nicotinamide, is a form of Vitamin B3. I went on to learn that, when it comes to health and beauty, Vitamin B3 is very important to the body. Vitamin B3 can minimize pores. It can whiten areas of hyperpigmentation on the skin. Vitamin B3 can help with eczema, rosacea, and acne. Wow! What a useful vitamin! The second thing that I will mention about this Niacinamide Whitening Toothpaste is how pretty the presentation is. The clear toothpaste tube and its crystal clear cap both have elegant gold accents. The whitening toothpaste inside the clear toothpaste tube is blue and pink and looks like cotton candy and bubble gum. The presentation of this Niacinamide Whitening Toothpaste is a strange mix of high end glamour meets teenage girl. Although its an odd mix of ideas the presentation of this toothpaste is very pretty. I enjoy looking at it.The third and possibly most important thing that I need to mention about this Niacinamide Whitening Toothpaste is that it does not perform the normal functions of a toothpaste. My teeth never felt clean after I used this whitening toothpaste. Unlike most toothpastes that have a minty flavor this product has no taste at all. You will not have minty fresh breath after using it.This Niacinamide Whitening Toothpaste should be used in conjunction with regular toothpaste. The regular toothpaste should be used first to clean the teeth. This Niacinamide Whitening Toothpaste should be used afterward only as a stain remover to whiten the teeth. This Niacinamide Whitening toothpaste expands. If you put too much on your toothbrush it will expand to the point that it fills up your mouth without signs of stopping. The first couple of times that I used it the rate of expansion of this toothpaste was so alarming that it almost caused me to have a panic attack. Because of that I now use just a pea sized or sometimes even half a pea sized dollop of this toothpaste on my toothbrush.I try to leave this stain remover for the teeth in it's expanded form in my mouth and on my teeth for as long as possible after brushing with it.After using this Niacinamide Whitening Toothpaste once a day for a couple of weeks, I felt like I was starting to see some patchy areas of whitening on my front teeth. Here I want to take a minute to mention that for the past year and some months I have been eating one or two lemons almost every single day. I got into this habit two Christmases ago. I got sick two days before Christmas and as a result of that I lost my sense of taste and smell for three weeks. During the time when I was still sick my body cried out for citrus pulp. Because I try to eat a low carb diet the only citrus fruit that I had in my house was a bag of lemons. Back then I bought lemons to eat with my pan seared salmon.Since lemons are low carb fruits I felt okay eating one or two of them a day. I was aware that the acid in the lemons might be hard on the enamel on my teeth but I still ate them. I would say that I was addicted to eating a lemon a day. Oh, and I had to put salt on them during the time period when I had no sense of taste or smell because they were extra sour!Fast forward to yesterday. I happened to look in the mirror. I saw the back of my lower front teeth. I got a huge shock. For years the back of my lower front teeth were stained brown. I assumed that the brown stains were from my years of heavy smoking. I tried several things to remove those stains but nothing ever seemed to make a difference. Eventually I gave up and decided that I would just have to live with them. Now, I never thought to look at the back of my teeth before I started using this Niacinamide Whitening Toothpaste. I was only checking the front of my teeth to see if this toothpaste was removing stains. Because of that I don't know if it was a year of eating a lemon a day that removed the brown stains on the back of my teeth or if it was this Niacinamide Whitening Toothpaste. Maybe it was a combination of both?I will say that after eating a lemon a day for months I started to feel a jagged edge on the top of my front teeth under my gums. I assumed that the jagged edge I felt was due to the acid in the lemons eating away at my tooth enamel. I kind of hoped that the acid in the lemons was eating away layers of plaque or tartar. Because I could feel that jagged edge on the tops of my teeth I feel like the acid in the lemons that I ate did change the surface of my teeth.I still have patches of yellow on the front of my teeth. Maybe those yellow patches are due to tartar or plaque? A stain remover for the teeth would probably have little effect on tartar or plaque.I can't be sure how it happened but I can be sure that the brown stains that I had on the back of my lower front teeth are gone. Because of that I feel comfortable recommending this Niacinamide Whitening Toothpaste for removing brown stains but not for removing yellow tartar or plaque.Five stars!

Minty gel toothpaste in a fancy schmancy tube. So fun!
This is a very different brushing experience. Rather than a white or colored paste, this is a clear gel. The container is very fancy and look pretty in the bathroom. The top is heavy and clear with gold accent. The tube came in a box that was shrinkwrapped, and then there was another small foil seal over the tube opening itself. Not a chance this was tampered with. The gel smelled fresh and tasted good. The foaming action is far different than any toothpaste I have ever used. It doesn't absorb as much air, so it is extremely thick - almost like cream that in the process of being whipped. Not unappealing, just different. Overall I like the toothpaste and look forward to experiencing the whitening results.

Glittery Gel Toothpaste
This is a very pretty toothpaste. It is a glittery, clear gel with a very strong mint flavor. It contains niacinamide, which is actually a form of vitamin B3. It also supposedly " lifts stubborn stains from coffee, tea, wine and other dietary and lifestyle causes to brighten and illuminate your smile." I am not seeing a whole lot of stain removal after only a few days of use, but it does leave my teeth feeling clean, and it seems to do a good job on plaque. You are supposed to brush with it for 3 minutes, which is one minute longer than my electric toothbrush's cycle, so I've been brushing with this for 4 minutes. It seems to be as effective as most toothpastes, but at $10 a tube, it is priced a little bit higher.
