I replaced this in my Dell 5220, now my laptop wont power on and i get a blinking white light on the power button while charger is plugged in. Help pl

Verify you put the laptop togey properly. Are you sure the jack was the problem to begin with? In one case I thought so so I replaced it turns out it was the cmos and apparently cause similar symptoms in that series of dell
