Works amazing not just for making moonshine. It will separate any liquid from solid
This works great for anything u r trying to do. It does take aot of water as doing but a small stream and depends on how much u r doing. But has been great with ec and getting tint.

It's decent
It's a little smaller than you would expect but it should give you at least a gallon I went through the cleaning process the lid is a little bit thin and Ben so you have to watch out when you connect the rod to the top but all in all for the price it will definitely save your life in a shf situation

Making Hydrosols
I got this to make hydrosols. I had to find a way to hook the water hose up to my faucet. The setup they gave wouldn't fit over my faucet but after I found the right parts I got it hooked up and working. In my first batch of pine (I used my Christmas tree needles) hydrosol, I found that I was wasting too much water. Then my daughter suggested switching the intake and outtake hoses. So I put the water from the faucet hose on the bottom and the drain hose on the top, making the water going into the pot cool the coils on the bottom and the hot water out the top, as hot rises. This setup kept the water cold at all times and just had to use a trickle of water going into the pot and as the water rises it drains out the top hose. I have now made 2 gallons of pine hydrosol and can't wait to get flowers and other herbs growing so I can make more. Looks like I'm going to have to plant roses to make rose water. This is a great set up for making hydrosol, much better than my daughter's where you have to keep adding ice to the coil pot and taking water out.

I like it
Over all its a nice setup, however quality is questionable as the smaller worm box was cracked through where the edge was rolled and the lid to the distiller was dented up where they attached the pressure Guage. Over all nothing that would effect its use just small cosmetic defects take away from what is a very nice setup.

Flimsy with serrated edges
Final update: Unable to get the unit to work reliably. I have finalized the return process and am awaiting pickup. I do not suggest you purchase this unless you are quite willing to go through an extensive series of modifications. The final straw for me was the unit blasting out all my water as steam from under the lid.Original: I almost cut my hand on the lid's edge while unboxing. The lid and the pot have quite jagged edges. The manufacturing quality is very poor, and the whole unit feels dissatisfying and flimsy. I'll be seeking a refund.Update: No communication from the company RE: refund. I did try to use the device again, to see if I would be more charitable. It is leaking from the lid while distilling water for the humidifier. The edges of the lid and pots are so sharp, I decided to take a picture to prove they will eventually cut you. Really not a good device. Pictures attached showing crease in skin, steam leak, and water dripping down "sealed" pot.

Just QUALITY parts and materials noted.
VERY QUALITY made-solid, precise fitting snaps for the lid. Perfect sealing lid. Very smooth, rolled at ends. Water connections are very thick and seem to have very high nylon content (not brittle). Pressure guage is joined onto lid very securely and squarely. Overall, a very precisely made, impressive product! The results will depend 100% upon the skill, knowledge, and experience of the USER-one cannot blame this set up! Hint-use High heat at first, then lower gradually to avoid over pressurizing. Think of arriving at an icy cold camping cabin with a fireplace-use a rip roaring full blast fire, then back down when it gets comfy inside. It may be illegal to distill ethyl alcohol in your area, so the reason for having it is for distilling drinking water in an emergency.
