I use derwent inktense blocks on fabric and loved them since they dry permanent all I had to do was heat set it and that's it ... planning on adding more to my collection ...I would like to mention that the packing was very poor and probably due to this 14 of the blocks were broken but I'm very happy with the product and the delivery and of course the price ....overall I'll say go for it ...its definitely worth your money I've posted some photos of the products I made using these blocks

Inktense always keeps its promise, I already own the Intense Pencils and by the performance of the pencils, gave a thout to go for the block and does it's work. Just awesome they way the packs the huge bunch of pigments...

these work amazing. i bought these especially cause they are permanent and vegan. these are only 90 percent permanent i would say. but they layer very well. the previous colour does not merge with the fresh colour which is good. color range is good. they blend and spread nicely on paper and canvas.

Used to fabric paint a canvas bag combined with fabric medium. Excellent colour and permanence!

Arrived well packed and in perfect condition. I'm sure the addition of foam inserts into the plastic trays in the tin box has improved the breakage rate as all mine were in pristine condition on arrival. Just take care taking the sticks out as they're pretty well held/supported in the foam slots and these things are somewhat fragile in nature. I've only tested a few of these so far, using them as paint sticks by getting the colour with a wet brush but I just love the intensity of the colour you get from these. I originally got the travel set of 12 pans (which I liked so much I got this set of 72) and unlike that, there's no colour chart nor a list of colour names on the tin nor are they named individually but they do all have the reference numbers stamped on them which you can cross reference with the Derwent Inktense colour chart that is freely available on the internet. This is somewhat necessary as there are many shades so identifying a particular one can be tricky sometimes. I guess the ultimate would be my own swatch chart but I just haven't got around to that as yet. But ultimately, it's the intensity of colour, the ease of getting copious amounts of pigment off the stick with a brush, the lovely wet on wet effects, the colour mixing and the layering that make these just such a joy to use and a joy to look at afterwards. I've also been using these with pastels, watercolours and tombow pens and have been enjoying the experience very much. These sticks are great fun. I just love them!During the review process I was offered the opportunity to rate by 'Sheerness'. As far as I'm aware that's a place in Kent. Go figure...
