Yes it may be a bit noisy for a small cubicle.

It has a fixed rotation angle but one big disadvantage is that it doesnt have a speed control knob and the fan makes a lot of noise when it runs.So do check out other fans whith speed control knob before making the purchase.This one is a waste of money which I realized later.
