Perfect cake topper!
I used this for a 6 inch under the sea cake. It was absolutely perfect. Light weight, very detailed

Great toy!
I purchased this for my 5 year old daughter, to replace a similar turtle toy that had been lost. While I would not normally spend so much money on a children's toy for the pool, this is well worth the moiney! It is beautifully painted, made of durable molded plastic. There are small (pinpoint) holes in it, so it takes in some water while she plays with it, but I can squeeze it out. (I would prefer no holes so that it does not fill with mold.) The turtle is large, the size of my two hands put together. It has been many hours in the sun at the pool and the beach all summer and it still looks like new. We are very happy with this purchase!

Very Nice Turtle, and Super Cute
This big guy is the cutest sea turtle replica I have ever seen. He has a super cute face and his body is made of tough, but not rigid plastic, and he is detailed and painted beautifully front and back. He shares a bathroom wall space with other sea animals in our ocean themed wall art. We afixed him to the wall with the 3M Commando Hanging Strips and it worked like a charm. Better yet, if our kids were still young, I can see how this would also make a great toy. I am sure this is what it was intended to be, to play with in the bathtub, or out.

Not as advertised
I am confused by the reviews that state the size of the item. The item I recieved is very small, about 3 inches long and fits in the palm of my hand.

Movie Prop Worked Great
Used for a prop in a television commercial. We cut the shell off and added components to simulate movement on the beach with a mechanism coming out the bottom that was burred in the sand. The interior is mostly hollow. The exterior is mostly hard with a bit of flex in the front legs/fins. We bonded the components back together and repainted the exterior to mimic a species that visits the coast of Maine. The prop worked well. Modifications took about 10 hours. With a wee bit of computer graphics animation we had a live sea turtle. This is a nice product.

It floats!
It floats! A bath time miracle for young children. A large floating sea turtle is a hit. Perhaps it is almost slightly too big, but I won't complain about a kid's toy over-delivering for the price.

As far as I can see this is a pretty realistic representation
As far as I can see this is a pretty realistic representation. I need it for some underwater shots on my next Caribbean vacation. The turtle is hollow which means that it floats - so I have drilled a couple of 1/8" holes at either end of the underside in order that water can enter - now part-filled with water, the turtle will sit nicely under the water not rising nor sinking - perfect for my needs.
