Gross like promised
I’m not giving these five stars because ummmm gross? Actually, they are exactly what they claim to be: nasty bugs. Our kiddo made a da Vinci shield for a history project, (yeah, you should definitely look it up) anyway it was nasty just like his was, but didn’t smell as bad :-) so I’ll give it five stars after all

Fun for pranks
Great for using as April Fools pranks. Nice selection.

Good
My kids love these. Some of the spiders are obviously fake but they love these roaches and try to prank each other.

Not high quality
This product is badly cut out, cheap plastic but fun for a young kid would recommend if you don’t mind the quality. I would not recommend it if you have high expectations for this product.

Even Has Maggots
These were so gross they even had maggots. The roaches look so real. I wanted my sister to prank her husband and put an upside down roach on his plate but she was afraid he would scream. I thought these might look good for a pumpkin vomiting insects. It also came with one snake. I grew up on bags of plastic animals which were my favorite toy. I want to do something terrible with these to gross people out but I'll think of something. Lots of fun.

A Fun Addition To Trick or Treat Candy Bowl
I added these to my black witch's cauldron candy bowl for a bit if added Halloween excitement. I sprinkled some extra cockroaches on the floor, on and around the jack-o-lanterns. Some kids grabbed the creepy crawlies along with handfuls of candy. Others picked around them to get the candy. Some kids were scared and asked me to hand them their candy. All good fun!!!Cockroaches are the most realistic. Spiders are pretty good, too. Scorpions, geckos, centipedes added variety. There was one rubber snake. There was also a handful of small silicone maggots that have a gummy consistency. I didn't care much for the maggots because they come in bright white or black which is not realistic. And they're small and easy for kids to swallow. I had to tell some children to take them out of their mouths. If you're using these for small children, take the maggots out. After Halloween, we like to leave the cockroaches around the house to scare each other. I've already had several mini heart attacks.

Lots o' bugs for not a lot of money
This pack comes with a good variety of creepy crawlies. They're just cheap plastic but the size and paint job are good and realistic enough to give a good fright. I didn't smell them but I also didn't notice any offensive odors when I opened the pack.I bought these for an Indiana Jones themed 6-year-old's birthday party. I asked a family member to place them in obvious and not-so-obvious places around the house. We're still finding them months later and they're holding up just fine. They're now in my Halloween decoration box for reuse, so lots of value left in them.
