Smart and very compact when not in use
This is a very smart addition to any table - even though it calls it a pan stand, it looks great as a trivet on the dining room table.When I recieved it, was amazed at how small it folds when not in use.Certainly you find no pictures of it closed, but it basically fans round until one of the edges in the picture is merely touching the other side of the fan but it looks complete and circular.Not cheap but very solid built and smart.

I put some soup in it and it went well over the place.

A little jewel with a function
This a really beautiful and upscale trivet for a table or counter. I bought the item for a gift and could not give it up. This trivet is an example of an item for which price is forgotten when quality is there.
