Schneider Electric81-2530-12 2500W Inverter and 3-Stage Battery Charger

Easy to install by yourself. Excellent instructions too.

The image shows 2 black toggle circuit breakers at the bottom left corner of the face plate. This is what a 2000 watt model 2022 looks like. The 2500 watt model 2530 that I received does not have any circuit breakers installed. The Xantrex website datasheet shows no circuit breakers on the 2530, even as an option. I had researched this before I bought the product on Amazon, so I have no complaint about the product other than to say that the image is misleading to shoppers. If you buy this and want to have circuit protection (as you should, of course), like the model 2022 has, then you will need to purchase two circuit breakers (at $17 to $30 apiece) like the "Blue Sea Systems A-Series Toggle Single Pole Circuit Breakers" or the "T Tocas 20A Toggle Single Pole Circuit Breakers Hydraulic Magnetic Circuit Protector AC or DC 80 V". Additionally, you will have to figure out where to mount them because the front panel of the 2530 does not have a punch-out window to accommodate the installation of breakers.Aux Switch: When my unit arrived, I found the aux switch female port behind, and just under, the aqua plastic sheet that covers the front of the unit. All I had to do was very gently cut a square hole in the plastic sheet to reveal the port underneath, then plugged in the aux switch cable that was on my RV, which was previously used with the 2022 model. With this purchase I upgraded from a 2022 to a 2530. The swap out was simple. All cables, mounts, etc. fit exactly the same. But, I did have to install circuit breakers in my outgoing 120VAC lines.Battery Temperature Sensor Cable: When I bought mine in April 2021, it came with a battery temperature sensor cable. Unfortunately, Amazon does not show this in the product description, so I ordered the cable as a separate item from Amazon, which I then had to return, of course.

Well written instructions and great tech support. Technically it is a straightforward process to install, it is just like trying to pack 50 pounds of gear into a 10 pound backpack and wire it up in the space of a tuna can... other than that... it is a champ.

As you can see the case was crushed in and touching the coils inside. Never got a full refund and was charged over $300 for restocking fee total unacceptable

Great replacement for my old inverter. The footprint is shorter and it took some effort to mount in my motorhome but it works perfectly.

I was able to find the part I needed with fast delivery to get my RV working in order to leave in a timely manner.

The swap out with a 25 year old Freedom 25 was very easy. This unit fit in the rack with little modification. The price is ridiculous for a modified sine inverter/charger. My biggest issue is that the remote control does not work with my Link 2000 unit. Second issue is the noise generated when charging the batteries, it is a definite hum.
