Slender Man [DVD] [2018]

I did not like this movie. My sister did so I have given it 5 stars. It's about a group of girls who summon the slender man. Who begins to torment them.

It wasn't for me. Didn't find it scary. This used to be my childhood scare but it wasn't scary at all, it was watchable and i did enjoy the story, just wish it was more scary.

It took a few minutes to get into the story and the characters, but once the action started it was relentless and met my horror test - "the hairs on the back of my neck standing up and that occasional Adrenalin rush sending a cold chill down my spine"No spoilers..... watch it !

Love Joey King! She is so good in this film. I love the myth of slender man.

After watching the trailer, this was nothing like the overly hyped horror gore-fest that was the trailer. This piece of.... has only three minutes worth of slender, as well as failing to deliver a generic horror story. I wish that I could have a slender man film that was true to the idea :(

This film just did not do it for me. It’s based on the urban myth of Slender Man who haunts woods etc. and snatches people. I suppose it follows in the same vein as The boogie mans going to get you , the Candy Mans going to get you, Freddy Kruger’s going to get you etc. Well I was not scared them of them either and frankly the Slender Man sent me to sleep. This is one of the Internet’s First horror Urban Myth’s and young people seem obsessed by it so I suppose a film was bound to be made. It follows in a long history of films of this horror genre but for me I have seen it all before and it’s been done before a lot better for me. I am afraid you are going to have to do better than a tall man in a suit to scare me , mmmm sounds like my boss at work ! If he comes knocking on my door just leave me to sleep till he goes away. This films for internet urban myth lovers ie. not me.

OK watch but not worth the hype it got.

Worth the wait, great film, keeps the myth. Definitely for somebody who like ghost.
