Cam Jansen: the Birthday Mystery #20 Paperback – Illustrated, February 17, 2005

Says my 10 year-old. She really likes the Cam Jansen books. They are easy reading for her and she likes the mystery theme. She has a hard time visualizing the pictures in her head so the periodic illustrations help her with that! I read them so I know what questions to ask her to assist with her formulating her ideas for her book reports.

It's an easy read. Illustrations are great. My kid read all of them by now and he was the one requesting from me to get the rest of the books he has not read. School required some of these too

This book was given to my granddaughter who recently told our family that the Cam Jansen series was one of her favorites to read. As soon as she received it, she read the entire book immediately and called me to tell me she loved the story! She always tries to predict who or what or how the mystery will be solved as she reads the story, and she enjoyed the ending!

My daughter is always super excited when she gets a new Cam Jansen book. She loves all of these stories especially because they are all mystery books. In my opinion they have the right amount of pages and hard to read words for a second grader. This series was also highly recommended by her teacher to strenghten her reading skills.
