Supporting curriculum
My 8th grader doesn't like to write and I wanted to find something for him that would ease him into it. This book was a perfect choice. The excerises aren't overwhelming or too long. He is easily intimidated by big assignments and this book made it easier to persuade him to write. I also like the variety of topics covered in the prompts.

My son LOVES this book!
My 8th grade homeschooling son LOVED this book! He does NOT, I repeat, does NOT like to write, but he gets to write his feelings and be as funny as he wants and he LOVEs that! He reads it out loud to me orally and we both gets some me good laughs. He's a comedian too and it all comes out when he writes in this book.

8th Grade Homeschool Review:As a parent and homeschool educator, I've been using a set of books for 8th-grade homeschooling, and I'd like to share my thoughts. These books have proven to be a valuable resource in our homeschool journey. They provide a solid foundation for various subjects, covering a wide range of topics essential for 8th-grade students. What I appreciate most about these books is their comprehensive approach. They offer a well-structured curriculum that allows students to delve into subjects such as mathematics, science, literature, and history. The content is clear, and the exercises and activities help reinforce the learning process. However, it's worth noting that while these books are fantastic as guides, they might not provide all the answers. As with any educational materials, there may be moments when students need additional support or clarification. In such cases, we've found supplemental videos and other educational resources to be incredibly helpful. The combination of these books and supplementary materials has been the key to a well-rounded education.Subnote:This review is intended to serve as a general overview for all the books I'm currently using for 8th-grade homeschooling. If any of the books stand out, either for their exceptional quality or shortcomings, I will provide a more detailed review for that specific book. It's all about ensuring that our homeschooling experience is as enriching as possible.

Needs more guidance than expected.
This book doesn't really allow for an 8th grader to just fill out on their own. I'm not talking about reading what they've written, which is what an adult should certainly help them with, but moreso the instructions and examples that are given are a bit too vague and not specific enough, or they don't explain what the examples are doing/demonstrating. The math books in these series are good enough, but these writing books don't help much in the way of being specific to instructions or explaining methods/techniques and showing proper examples.
