Fancy Nancy: Our Thanksgiving Banquet: With More Than 30 Fabulous Stickers! Paperback – Sticker Book, August 23, 2011

I know the description mentions stickers but I missed it and it made for a very pleasant surprise! My daughter LOVES Fancy Nancy and is almost four and is finally understanding holidays. I felt this would be a perfect Thanksgiving present. The story is as great as other Fancy Nancy books - a great choice if you have a child who thinks she's too mature for the kids table and has to deal with "babies" at a holiday meal. I like that Nancy is real - she makes mistakes, she wears crazy mismatched clothes, her parents act like real parents and yet the pictures are pretty for my daughter, the character is appealing to her, and a lesson can be learned with each story.

My nieces and I loved this book, we will read it every year as long as they are interested. They really loved the stickers!

We really enjoy the Fancy Nancy books in our house. Nancy is sweet without being obnoxious. I like that she loves to use "fancy" words that my daughter might not otherwise encounter in books right now. We were looking for some books to read about Thanksgiving and this one is cute. Nancy goes over her grandparents' house and has a lovely Thanksgiving dinner with her family.

When I was looking around for interesting books for my twin 3-year-old granddaughters, I was captivated by the Fancy Nancy series.I looked at the Pinkalicious series, but decided against it because the reviews implied she was a brat. The FN series has a nice message. I especially like that her family who is "plain" accept Nancy as she is, something we should all aspire to do.The illustrations are fantastic--so much to look at and talk about. I've found when reading to the girls, they LOVE the details in all the pictures. I'm saving the FN Thanksgiving book to give to the girls in November. I gave them the Halloween books to lead up to this fun event for them.

Cute book. Haven't tried out the stickers yet but I enjoyed the story.

We are huge Fancy Nancy fans, we have almost all of her paper back books that come with the stickers. Great interactive way to read the story and add the stickers as your reader goes along. Normally a great price point as well, although I know it does vary depending on the time of year and surrounding holidays. One thing I would like is if the stickers could be repositioned, these are very sticky and once in place you cannot take them up.

This is a great little book that my children & nieces all got a kick out of hearing. It is a fun way to be reminded that maybe the "kid's table" isn't all bad. It has a cute little activity described in the book plus stickers too. That makes it a win win book in our house!
