Lune+Aster Dawn to Dusk Brow Pencil

I’ve tried all of the brow pencils and this is hands down my favorite! The color works on all brows and lasts all day. I have purchased this numerous times and don’t see myself changing for a long time.

I prefer pencils to fill in my brows. So, I ordered this to give it a try. I don’t use vegan products but I wanted to see if there was a difference vs non-vegan.This is a good quality brow pencil, vegan or not. I couldn’t tell the difference. It glides on nicely and the color works for me. My only gripe is that the spoolie doesn’t come out as much as I would like and it’s on the smaller side. It’s not a big deal, as I have a separate spoolie that I’m able to use.So, do I think it’s worth the price? No BUT vegan products are pricier than non-vegan. So, it probably is worth the price. As I’m not partial to vegan products, I won’t be ordering again. If I was, I would.

This brow pencil has a nice smooth texture. It can accomplish a thick fill, a soft fill with light pressure, and it can create small, thin strokes if tilted to an angle. Although it’s called a Universal color, I wouldn’t consider the color best for blondes or light hair, where a taupe or lighter color works well (unless you are going for a dark, dramatic look). I have very dark blonde hair, and it’s almost too dark for my personal taste, but I am able to lightly fill my brows with it, and it looks nice and defined. I would consider it a dark brown. It is a perfect color for brunettes and even raven hair. It can be used lightly or applied with pressure to create a dark fill. The spoolie brush on the end is great quality and has a cap to keep it clean and protected. The other side has the retractable pencil and no cover, so I always retract the pencil after I’m done. All of the ingredients score a good, green #1 or #2 on EWG’s Skin Deep database, except for the last ingredient which is an orange #3: Titanium Dioxide.

This product was marketed as natural and cam up at the top of my search for organic brow pencil. The key feature said natural, but when it arrived the first ingredient literally said synthetic so I returned it. Ingredients need to be shown. What a waste!
