NOW Foods Supplements, GlucoFit® with 18% Corosolic Acid, Supports Glucose Metabolism*, 60 Softgels

Apparently I can't leave any useful details so I'll just say it works better than I could've hoped for - look it up if you aren't sure. There is no question this is what is helping ME due to isolated dosing & effects afterwards - I can absolutely tell it is doing what research indicates it will. Nothing works for everyone but after a few scary weeks I am feeling almost normal & can not say enough how grateful I am to have found this from a reputable company like NOW Foods for under 10 bucks - fantastic deal for something so effective. This isn't the only product I'm taking for my condition but my results really picked up after i added this to the mix

For under $10 per bottle this product is excellent. I have type 2 diabetes and if I take this just before or anytime during or after consuming something on the sweet it keeps my blood sugar from going crazy high.

Perhaps some people feel/see a difference from taking this, but it did nothing for me. I finished the entire bottle. No results.

First...I am not a doctor and I don't play one on TV! I met someone on vacation who told me the "insulin plant" works wonders for his father's diabetes. I was curious. I looked up the plant online and studied the ingredients, the main ingredient being Corosolic Acid. The Insulin Plant in powdered form, is $49 per container, this product was cheaper and I didn't have to worry about taste in a smoothie, or for that matter...making a smoothie. My husband and I both have diabetes. I'm allergic to Metformin and Januvia so I take insulin. While I found MY results to be significant, my husband showed no such difference in his numbers. My numbers were reduced so much, that I could reduce the amount of insulin I was taking. It was worth the try for me, although not for my husband!

The verdict is still out on this one. I'm diabetic and trying this along with Chromium to control my blood sugar levels.I've only used it for less than a month, but I've been able to reduce my Lantus Solostar from 80 mls a day to 8 mls a day.I have also added a total of 1000 mgs of Metformin, as that's about all my system will tolerate of that drug before I have stomach issues.My goal is to completely eliminate the Lantus, which that should be accomplished in about a week and a half, (I have been slowly reducing this at a rate of 2mls per every 4 days, so it doesn't shock my system).Second goal, to eliminate the Metformin, and only take these natural products.An added plus to this adventure is that I have lost over 25 pounds making this switch, which is major, as the insulin was adding pounds by the week, and NOT controlling my blood sugars.I will keep you all posted as I continue my adventure. :)P.S. Also, please note that I'm an doing this under my physicians supervision, and I would recommend everyone to do the same.*******UPDATE*******8/9/2015I'm still using this and to date, I'm off, Lantus Solostar, and have lost 35 pounds.I'm still on the 1000 mgs. of Metformin, no change yet in A1C.It does seem to upset my stomach at times, but I take a break for a week and go back on it.All in all, it's doing what I wanted it to do. :-)

Not all supplements are beneficial and this unfortunately is one of them. I bought this supplement as it contained an ingredient from a previous NOW supplement- Glucose Metabolic Support and worked so well before, however for some reason my body reacted quite differently and my blood sugar levels skyrocketed. When I took it the first time I was surprised to see elevated sugar readings but I decided to try again. My sugar levels typically ranged from 150-160 after meals but when I took the reading it was 253! To be certain it was the tablet I took it according to dosage for a day and 1 tablet the next day and was shocked to see that final reading. It didn’t work for me but who knows if it can work for someone else.

This product does what it says when used in conjunction with chromium picolinate and a sensible diet. It regulates my blood sugar when diet alone did not. I am glucose resistant but not at the diabetic stage. However i did differ from gestational diabetes and it SUCKED so trying VERY hard not to go back. Worth it if you are committed to the regiment.
