how hard do they hit??

They sound pretty good. Not going to rattle your mirrors off but they will fill in the bass nice and take up a small amount of room. Go with a 12 inch ported sub if you want something that hits hard.

Is this a dual voice coil sub and if so, is it wired parallel or series ? Is it a 2 or 4 ohm sub ?

Hi There! It's a single coil, rated at 4 ohm. Like I've told others, this isn't the one you want if you're planning on entertaining the neighbors. Its great for adding some bass for a lower powered system. Its a great choice for most kinds of music but if you listen to a lot of rap/ reggae with a lot of low bass this isn't the best choice.
