Ram Mount Twist Lock Suction Cup Mount for the Garmin eTrex Legend C/Cx/HCx, Venture Cx/HC/Vista C/Cx/ HCx

I received my RAM mount several days ago and am very pleased with the over all design and functionality of the product. The product is very solid and when mounted to the windshield it might as well be glued there because its not moving. Only small grip is that it had a small amount of paint pealing off when I received it. Not enough to want to return it but none the less it was pealing. Love the product and plan to use it for years to come.

hello, this product from ram is for the etrex size gps units. you clip the etrex snugly into the holder and it can swivel anywhere you want. just remember to tighten the screw lever to secure it. the suction cup on the bottom is very strong and the simple locking lever works extremely well. for the etrex, it is an excellent product. the etrex is snug and some of the side function buttons are not out in the open because of the snug holder. but, the buttons can still be used. i bought the shorter 3 inch replacement arm and 1/4 inch camera mount to make this gps mount more versatile. now, i can mount my digital camera or camcorder to this shorter arm and it is more secure than the longer stock arm. still, it is a great product and very well made. the amazon delivery was outstanding !

I have had a Garmin eTrex for a while, and have checked out the 'universal' type holders for it, and they all seemed less than secure, or would cover one or more of the control buttons, making it difficult to use the GPS while in the holder.This one fits my eTrex perfectly, with cutouts for every button and control, while holding it very securely. I mount my GPS on my ATV, and I have no fears at all, that it will fall off. The holder came with a clamp, to secure it to the handlebar. The double ball joints allow for ease of positioning, yet once tightened down, do not seem to move around hitting bumps.Just what I was looking for.

I cleaned the surface of my kayak very well and affixed this mount to a nice smooth, flat area. It felt secure until the suction cup gave way and the mount plus my GPS fell into the deepest part of the bay... Lost both. If you buy it, make sure you use a lanyard.

The cheap at the end is expensive, once again I had experienced that.At the begining I didn't want to spend in a mounting for my eTrex, so I bought another mounting that was totally useless, since vibrate too much, and this GPS is everything but big, so was hard to follow, then I found this mount, and decide to buy it, when I received and used realize that this was the mounting I need.Is very compact, to be heavy duty it's compact, GPS is firmly attached so there are not vibrations, and it is easy to move.Definitely this is the only product I recommend for mount your eTrex in the car. I have been using this mount in my truck for about 6 months now and I can honestly say that this is one of the best products I have purchased recently. I am pleased AND impressed with the quality contruction and materials of this mount. Ease of use and adjustablity are also top notch. When it comes time to buy a lap top mount I will not even bother looking at other brands - RAM Mounting Systems is what I will buy.

The mount didn't come with instructions. Otherwise, it seems very sturdy and was not too difficult to assemble. Fits the Legend well.

This thing is awesome. I mount it to the console on my boat or in my car and it holds my handheld securely. No worries about it coming loose or loosing my gps. Definately recomend!
