Fairly easy to use, reads most systems
Works fine. I bought it to confirm my suspicions regarding an ESP fault. It did exactly that. Fairly easy to use, seems effective. Worth having if you own a Mercedes and like working on it.

It actually does specialise in Mercedes ECU modules
I was nervous about buying this product as I have previously bought a scanner claiming to be Mercedes compatible only to discover it was a generic scanner that while it worked with Mercedes it only covered a small subset of the ECU modules. This one did and I was able to rectify an air-conditioning fault and reset the system.

Works really well exceeding expectations
Managed to diagnose and reset my SRS diagnostic message, suspected all along it was a small voltage drop when starting the engine which caused it to blip, but once detected the fault display stays put. The reader quickly confirmed that both faults seamed to be voltage sensing related. Used it to clear the fault, started engine and problem gone. Saved £££ at garage. Did not detect VIM, but managed to enter model manually. Also their website for updates seems to be down, so not sure if company still in business. But even used once, it's still a good deal with main dealer labour rates through the roof.

DOESN’T RESET ENGINE CODES!
PROS: 1) LOOKS “PROFESSIONAL” 2) SEVERAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDING LIST OF VIEWABLE CODES CONS: 1) RETURNS AN ERROR CODE WHEN TRYING TO RESET ENGINE LIGHTS I bought this with the express purpose of diagnosing and then re-setting an Engine light which was connected with the DPF in my Merc CLS. It diagnosed it with no problem, stating it was a DPF Pressure sensor. Between getting the new sensor fitted and the diagnosis, i tried to reset the fault code. The scanner displayed an error saying it couldn’t reset the engine light. Thus, this was useless. In the end it turned out that it was not the sensor, but the DPF. Apparently, there are no Merc E/CLS class DPFs in Europe either new or re-manufactured. I ended up having the DPF removed and cleaned which has transformed the car into a rocket ship which does 50mpg average! As for this OBD Scanner, save your money if you want to re-set codes. If you want to scan them, it’s great.

Recovered the cost on first use.
Brilliant piece of kit. I am no auto-electrician but I was able to pinpoint the speed sensor that had failed on my Mercedes and tell the garage what to replace ! Recovered the cost of the unit by not having to pay the usual fault-finding fee at the outset. Great value for money.

It works well
I’ve only had this device for a couple of hours and already I have carried out a full scan of 78 sensors and investigated and cured an airbag warning light. Wiped fault codes and carried out another scan which found no faults. It’s simple and straightforward to use, you don’t really need instructions as it’s intuitive. Despite others saying it doesn’t work I say it did for me on my MB W207.

Good tester - though you need to spend time learning how to use it.
It is a little more complicated than I thought it would be and took a few minutes to figure out but it did diagnose a specific component which I new was faulty - ABS sensor - I just didn't know which one. I would recommend to someone else but it does have a bit of a learning curve.
