Exactly what we needed - We cut these in half
These are basically the absorbency section of a disposable diaper. Our daughter was leaking through at nap time and in the morning, but isn't ready for the next size up diaper. She's in cloth (pre-folds) during the day and a disposable at night. She's in size 3 diapers and these inserts are roughly twice as big as we need for her. We cut them in half, slide one in with her diaper before she goes to bed. She hasn't leaked through since we started doing this. These work so well, we may try keeping her in cloth overnight if we get brave.Note: If you cut these down, a few absorbency "crystals" may leak out after they've done their duty. Not a big deal or a mess. We put the cut side towards the small of her back and position it a little further back and this greatly minimizes the chance of and crystals getting loose. With the prefold cloth diapers, we fold the cloth around the insert so it's never directly against her skin and so we can still use a liner. My only complaint is they should be offered in a smaller size. Cutting in half works great and is a super bargain though.

They do the job
We purchased these to use with GroVia shells on a long road trip (since the GroVia biosoakers were out of stock everywhere). I can't compare the two since we've not yet tried the biosoakers, but these were sufficient for our needs. Easy to use, trim, absorbent. They shift around in the shell a little, bunching up in the middle, but it wouldn't really stop me from buying them again. Overall, they're very convenient.

So soft, its hard to believe its not cloth
These disposable inserts are great for traveling. I use them any time I am going to be out of town. The are super soft and one of the few disposables that my daughter doesn't have a reaction to. We still prefer our cloth when we are home (which is the reason for only four stars), but for travel, these do the trick!

I decided to buy these Flip inserts to put inside the disposable and they have been working like a charm
YES! My 2 year old's size 6 Bambo Nature disposable diapers were leaking overnight but I didn't want to switch to Huggies or Pampers... I wanted to stay with the natural diapers. I read reviews for Honest, Naty, etc but those all fell short as overnight diapers as well. I decided to buy these Flip inserts to put inside the disposable and they have been working like a charm! There's no sticky backing so the pee can go through to the diaper if the insert gets fully saturated. (Grovia and gDiapers inserts won't work because they have sticky backs.) It's long - the length of the whole diaper, and I can fold it over so it's doubly thick in front where he needs it. They are definitely pricier on Amazon and from now on I'll be buying from the Flip website for 40 cents each. Combined with the diaper it's about a dollar a night but the price I'll pay for a dry toddler in the morning!

OK but...
These are soft and absorbant and long BUT they are narrow. I think they'd be ok for smaller babies but my 19 month old is 30 lb and there is isn't enough coverage for his bum. Also, disposable diapers are a cheaper and less messy alternative to these. I love all other Flip products. The covers are truly the best and the stay-dry inserts are remarkable. In conclusion, if you have a smaller baby these inserts are good. They are good quality and are plenty absorbant but they just don't work for us.

Very absorbent disposable inserts
I had purchased the Flip diaper covers and wanted to try these disposable inserts for travel. The inserts are fantastic, highly absorbent and actually work extremely well at night for our daughter. I like that the material is extremely soft, and although they aren't flushable like the gDiapers, they certainly hold quite a bit of fluid.

Absorbent and well sized
These are a repeat buy for us. In fact, I loved using them so much cloth diapering for our son that they've become a staple shower gift for other cloth diapering moms. Disposable inserts are great for when you're out of the house, road trips or even nighttime for heavy wetters. They are very long, but easily customizable by cutting them or folding them down to the right size. Over 1.5 years of cloth diapering my son, 3 packages was enough to last us through the whole experience. Very absorbent, folds small when dry (convenient for carrying in a diaper bag or purse), fair price for convenience.

They work best if you cute them in half otherwise they stick ...
I bought these to use inside a size 4 diaper for my 14 month old. They work best if you cut them in half, otherwise they stick out over the top and back of the diaper so the wetness ends up on clothing.
