Great smooth clutch action - changed cart operation to significantly better
I put this clutch on my Yamaha G16 after I got very tired of pushing the weights back down on the OE clutch when they would lock up. Wow, this new clutch (doesn't appear to have weights) is so much smoother at startup and initial movement its just awesome. The new clutch has only been installed 2 weeks so I cant comment on durability yet and I see some negative durability reviews. I will update as needed. I bought the clutch puller tool with the clutch and on my older Yamaha the old clutch released from the engine crankshaft very easily. I did use anti seize on the puller threads to help. The replacement was really very easy.

Great Clutch!
I’ve had this primary clutch installed for about 2 months now and it is working great. I was hesitant about going with the cheaper priced clutch, but the feel of this out of the box seems like a solid clutch. There was a small hiccup, one of the cover screws never would get tight and I lost it the first spin around the yard, but a replacement and a little loctite solves that. Overall it deserves 5 stars because of the great price and the overall ease of use. It also quietened down my cart a lot because my OEM Yamaha G2 30 year old clutch had broken weights that were clanging around. My cart is also zippier when taking off but also smooth.

Works great
Just got it installed on my g16 today, came packaged well and install was easy, make sure you buy the clutch removal tool to get your old clutch off! As others have noted it does take slightly more rpms to engage but it is barely noticable and this clutch pulls hills very well

Works fine, however my problem ended up being a rod in the motor sadly it will need to be rebuilt.

Takes lag time and higher rpms to engage. Not good for rear end.

Great replacement for my Yamaha G19. Comes with the removal tool. Engages at a bit higher rev but for the price I can't complain.

Was as described, good price. Installed and works great. It would be nice if they suggested the proper puller with the item. The puller I purchased from another company had the wrong threads.
