How thick is this protector?

Its not very thick at all but it is very effective

How should i cut it to size? should it be wider than the table? should i cut around it whilst it’s on the table?

I cut mine to the size of the table and it sits perfectly .my tablecloth goes on the top and no ned for table mats,therefore leaving more space on the table,and it protects it beautifully.

Yes it can be cut, quite easily with scissors.

Are you able to wash in the washing machine ?

Hi Cannot remember what the instructions were. However I decided to put it in the washing machine. It appears to have washed well. Does not look as if it has shrunk. Please note I trimmed it to the size of my table so it is smaller than the measurements above.it then fitted into my washing machine. Hope this helps.

Nice and durable

Does what it advertised. Just remember to use a really sharp blade if you are cutting to size/shape as it has a fluffy backing.
