We have one of these installed on our 2014 Silverado work truck and it works great! Definitely prevents the inside of the tailgate from getting scratched by toolboxes, parts, etc. Stays secured very well (it's best to be sensible; don't drag anything heavy over it that might rip it off) and the gray color looks nice. The carpet is dense and soft enough to kneel on over the metal tailgate and cause no pain to your knees, which is a definite plus for us when we have to climb into the shell-covered bed to pull equipment out. Highly recommended!

I use the tailgate cover to soften the tailgate and keep it from further damage.

Gives good protection of the tailgate and is easy to attach. Ran it in an open bed for a few weeks while waiting for my cap to arrive. Stayed in place, no problem Not as cushioned as the Bed rug but still much better than a bare tailgate.

The tail gate has been the country boy's chair for as long as I can remember. This makes that chair a lot more comfortable and keeps you from scratching the paint when you load and unload. A plus I hadn't considered until I got it was how much I like the quiet when I load and unload. The velcro attachments are the burly holds really strong kind and they give you plenty of them.

Make sure you clean the tailgate from dirt etc and the Velcro will work great. It fits perfect and was a 5 minute install.

The perfect match to the Bedrug bedmat in my 2015 GMC 2500HD Denali Duramax Diesel. I opted to go with Bedrug bedmat & tailgate mat in lieu of the full Bedrug because my Denali has the factory sprayed-in bed liner with the Denali logo on the cab bed wall. I didn't want to cover that up with the full Bedrug. But the Bedrug bedmat and tailgate mat give me the look and feel (great on your knees when loading luggage or other stuff on bed) I wanted.

Saves my tailgate from unnecessary scratches. For comfort on the knees and butt when getting in and out of the truck bed, I added a layer of bubble wrap envelopes, like what you get from Amazon when some smaller objects are mailed to you, between the tailgate and the new mat, but not interfering with velcro strips on mat sticking directly to tailgate . You will thank me for this little tidbit.

Bedrug is so much better than a spray in liner. I constantly and moving furniture so this create a soft and level surface to slide the items into the bed.

Installed this tail gate mat on my 2019 limited GMC 1/2 ton and it was easy and quick. Fits very nice and is easy to remove if needed
