I bought this last year and have been using it for about 8 months, and I can't say I'm impressed. It does work - the picture quality isn't terrible - but there are just so many annoying things about it. I've been using it for Zoom calls, and many times when I enter or exit a Zoom breakout room (or sometimes just try to turn on my camera) this webcam will cause my Zoom to crash. I haven't been able to figure out why it does this, but it's been a continuing issue. I also have learned to make sure that my computer NEVER uses the webcam's microphone. While the webcam mic was on, people have told me that the audio was so bad it was unintelligible. I guess it's not a huge issue since my computer has a mic, but it's not fun when you're joining a Zoom call and constantly worrying about whether or not I'm going to be able to be understood. If you want a webcam that fulfills the bare minimum requirement of "it can record video" then this product is for you, but if you want something that functions well, you should find something else.

I bought one of these during the COVID-19 lockdown, when webcams were such a hot item that there wasn't a decent name-brand model anywhere to be found for less than a 500+% markup. So when I saw this one was available for $55 I wasn't really expecting much, but I was still disappointed. The microphone was mostly non-functional, by which I mean it recorded a loud pulsating buzzing noise that almost entirely masked any actual speaking that you might be doing. I guess I should take this opportunity to mention that there were no actual loud pulsating buzzing noises in the area when I tested this product on three separate computers. So I sent it back for a replacement, thinking I'd just gotten a defective product. Unfortunately, the replacement had the same problem. A person's muffled voice could barely be heard if they spoke directly into the device, but the buzzing noise was much louder. One defective product could be a fluke, but two in a row is significant. I'm generously giving this 2 stars because the video function seemed to work okay, so it'll be okay if you're using a separate microphone and don't mind paying for something that doesn't do one of it's primary functions.

image is a screen shot of my FaceTime image, Color is way too blue, and focus is very fuzzy at all distances from web cam. FaceTime with my iPad gives me HD and true color. I'm on a mac mini with a HD Asus monitor, and wanted a web cam for full 23" screen FaceTime and Zoom. In star- reviewing this, there is a category called "sheerness". What is that? I omitted it.

We had to purchase the Anwike Full HD-1080 Webcam 30FPS so we could work from home. Anwike Price Gouged this camera which sells for $19.99 to $54.99. Then they give you a 3 foot adapter which doesn't reach most computers to be on the center of monitor. Don't buy it- look for one with longer adapter cable and better microphone.

definitely a great starter webcam.for the price,this webcam is great.mounts good on both my tv and laptop.its about four to four and a half inches wide.this webcam is definitely worth 20 bucks.

Good webcam and easy to setup. Actually 1080p video, but the mic is extremely bad. If you are using the webcam and have a separate external microphone, it works very well.

This device worked as advertised putting the Nintendo Switch video onto the HONDA built in entertainment system, letting both kids play on a long trip (8 hours). Also much more suitcase-friendly than packing up the dock. Pick one up, as more devices adapt USB C, it will become even more useful.

This is the second adapter like this that I have bought and this is definitely the one to get. It feels solid as it is made with quality materials. I also like the fact that it has a small LED light to indicate that it is receiving power.It also comes in a box (whereas the other in a plastic bag) which it is packed very well in.If you are getting this for the Nintendo Switch, I would highly recommend. I have all three ports being used with the usb-c for power, the HDMI to my monitor, and the USB for a PS4 controller adapter. All work very smoothly.
