Mind on Statistics

I’ve read dozens of stars textbook for my job. This one is perfect. No other eater book comes close to practicality, real examples, and ease of reading.

In my life, I have read perhaps 30 Statistics texts, and Mind on Statistics is the very best! The text is thorough, the examples are clear, the questions are well-phrased, with (correct) answer in the back of the book. The background for every statistical procedure is presented extremely well, with enough math to make one a believer but not so overwhelming that one would skip the math just to get to the formula. I cannot say enough good things about this book!

This book got me through pretty well with Statistics class. It shows many problem sets for you to work through for each chapter and this is what saved me on the exams.

This is really a good book for the beginner! The explanations are clear and easily understood with plenty of real examples.

i liked this book. one of the authors was teaching this course at a university i won't disclose and the book itself was easy to understand and provided good examples and problems to learn off of.

I loved that I could get this book so cheap online and it was in good condition and hardcover. Do be careful though. If you need homework problems for a stat class from the book the problems are different than ewhat are in the 4th edition. The pages are colorful and short and helpful for reviewing for exams. I got my money's worth.

This book is excellent and provides great real-life examples and applications that help retain information

One of the reasons why I bought the physical version of this book, as opposed to the online version was because it was supposed to come with the yellow formula card, and it didn't. Rather annoying...
