if you are in doubt just ask Magic 8 Ball a question and it will give you the right answer. It's a fun toy suitable for people of all ages. The only 2 things I didn't like about it is 1) The display isn't very bright in regular daylight and appears dull although it becomes sufficiently brighter under bright light. 2) Made in China etc., on the screen edge, it would have been better if they had placed it along the sides or at bottom, seems too intrusive. It seems to be genuine Mattel product and is definitely worth the price.

It has great quality. Although, I suggest that you take care of the bottom screen because it can get scratches.

The Magic 8 ball delivered to me didn't match the pics shown here. The one delivered to me was small, almost fist-sized with a push button that needs to be pressed in order to get a prediction/answer, whereas the pictures here depict a big version that can be held in both hands and the answer floats on the display screen. Although Amazon was responsible enough to manage my complaint, this review is for those who have a specific image in their mind. I didn't find the product I received worth the price.

First of all please stop giving one star rating just because it didn't give you the right answers. This is just a toy!! And some people get confused; this not an electronic device, its just a hollow plastic ball with a floating icosahedron and random answers in blue color. It may be dark sometimes and you need a well lit place to read the answers. Rough use may form some bubbles in future which can make the text less readable.

Cela fait un bon moment que j'ai offert cette magic ball 8 à ma fille, et elle fonctionne parfaitement. Pour éviter le fameux écran blanc ou rayé, il suffit de la tenir correctement. En effet, il semble que le message flotte dans un liquide à l'intérieur de la boule. De ce fait, si on la tient penché, le message flotte de travers et il devient difficile à entrevoir. C'est juste mécanique. Une fois ceci bien assimilé, le jeu est très sympa et anime les soirées même pour les adultes. Je conseille vivement.

It's a pretty fun toy, the quality is good, however the there is no clear instruction on how to properly shake it, and if you don't know how to do it, then you'll be disappointed, like I was, since it wouldn't land correctly every time (and it required a reroll). To avoid the situation like shown in the attached image, is to place the Magic 8 Ball on the table, or hold it to shat 8 is perpendicular the ground, and then rotate it 180 degrees, so that the round thing with the answer will face the ceiling. This approach is way more reliable, I only encountered a couple of times, out of 100+, where it would land unevenly. Have fun! 😁

英語が多少読めて、優柔不断の人におすすめ（笑）。小さいことでくよくよ考えるより、これで答えを出してえいやーで片づけると、色々進みます。

The Magic 8 Ball gives funny and sometimes surprisingly accurate answers, which makes it entertaining for both kids and adults. The design is classic and easy to use. The answers are clear if you shake it properly, but if you shake it the wrong way, the answers can be hard to see or hidden.
