Wish it were larger
It is a really nice decorative plate, but, the size and dark color was a deal breaker for me. Ironically, after looking at the pictures from other reviewers, it appeared larger but that was an illusion. I’ve included a few pictures as a true reference to the actual size. In one of the pictures is a plate medallion that I’ve had a very long time and I was hoping to obtain an identical size. The other picture is a size reference as it compared to a dinner plate.

Great piece, however...
few noticeable flaws which when it was painted should have been seen. It's a wedding gift and I didn't have enough time to return it and assure that I would get another one or I would have returned it for another one
