Great for darker complexions!
The media could not be loaded. I have been searching for a non toxic sunscreen for me and my family. All other mineral sunscreens leave my skin with a white film. Not only does this sunscreen protect, it also rubs in well and doesn’t leave you with the white film. It’s great for darker complexions.

Best Stuff I’ve Found
I love this stuff. It’s thick so you have to work it up in your hands before applying to the skin. Doesn’t take much. Dries clear. Smells neutral. It’s not greasy like a lotion. Your skin will be mostly dry to the touch, with the soft feeling of light baby powder. Goes a long way!I can’t seem to burn in this stuff. 5-6 hours and I’m still good! I tan great with it too.Two downsides, that are perfectly bearable:1) it’s clear on your skin but you may notice a light white arm print on you car window. This stuff wipes off, but you will need a damp towel.2) it really sticks to my contacts. doesn’t burn but produces milky vision which sux. I just clean my lenses when I get home.

Good product, but completely overpriced
I love this product, however, there is no way in any reality that I will be paying $50 for a tube of it. It is very good if you need something that will last all day and never come off. It’s thick compared to other sunscreens.

Best Reef Safe I've Used!
I've used several brands of reef safe sunscreen in the past. I was headed out on vacation and needed to buy a new tube as my old one had expired. I saw this brand and figured I'd try it out. I am glad I did.By far, this is the best reef safe I've used. It comes out thick like all the reef safe versions but it goes on quickly and actually absorbs into the skin. I didn't have that underlying "pale" look that I had from the other brands when the sunscreen wouldn't fully absorb. Nothing rubbed off onto my clothes and it smells quite lovely, not like rodeo clown grease paint or chemicals.Water beads up on my skin proving the lotion is staying put. The longest I went in the water was an hour but I spent plenty of time on the boat as well. I did reapply after the recommended 80 minutes and never once burned.I'm pretty sure I never got any more tan than when I arrived, haha.Great stuff! I will continue to use.To clarify, I was diving in Mexico on the Caribbean side. I can't confirm about ALL Mexico dive centers but the one(s) I've used have always checked everyone's sunscreen to verify it is reef safe and even then, some were not allowed. This brand passed two dive center checks. Reef safe, long lasting, quick absorbing and smells great. Can't go wrong!

Great sun screen!
This sunscreen is amazing! I bought it for the ocean/water safe aspect because I am trying to be mindful, but man this stuff is the BEST! I can apply it before a 6 hour tubing trip down the river and not reapply the entire time and anywhere that was covered will NOT burn! I have pretty fair skin so this is a miracle! Its water resistant and rubs in clear! Whether you apply an hour before or right before it will protect you immediately! It is a little tacky at first and I would compare it to any topical cream like diaper rash cream. I wouldnt say its moisturizing but it doesnt dry you out or cause any skin reactions. It is very easy to spread and a little goes a long way! A dime sized amount would do my shoulder and down my arm! For the price and performance I will be buying again and I will be recommending!

Not as expected
It's very oily - too much for my skin. It feels like rubbing a very thick kitchen oil on my face. I was looking forward to using it after reading reviews so am disappointed. Will look into an exchange but since I've used it once........perhaps not? Maybe I can pass it on to someone who doesn't mind an oily face or has dry facial skin? I does protect, spreads well, and doesn't show a white overcast so it does what it says. However, I need a facial sunscreen that is non-comedogenic.

Works and it goes pretty far
This is good stuff. Protected me from strong sun on my vacation recently. I was afraid the small bottle wouldn't be enough for 2 people for 2 weeks, so we got 2 bottles, but we would have been fine with just one. It was pricy, but our destination is home to crystal clear water, coral reefs and some of the most gorgeous fish. We wanted to be respectful of their home. Plus a snorkel park we went to banned regular sunscreen so we wanted to get something that we could wear for protection at the park. I did a lot of research on amazon comparing different natural sunscreens before landing on this one.We did get burnt on a particularly long day of sun exposure, but I blame that on not re-applying often enough, and at least the burn wasn't blotchy and weird like you sometimes get with other sunscreens. No sunscreen is fool-proof or lasts all day, especially if you're in and out of the water repeatedly. My husband has super sensitive skin, and very oily skin. He did not complain about this sunscreen being too sticky even once, and it did not cause any breakouts. It's thick, kinda like toothpaste, but I found a good method for applying is to squeeze small amounts at regular intervals onto your limbs and rub them in circles. It doesn't have a white cast as long as you rub it in very well.

Doesn’t set my hands on fire. A big plus.
I have been having a really uncomfortable skin reaction to some ingredient in sunscreen that I haven’t been able to nail down yet. Even sensitive skin or mineral only formulas made me break out in a painful, itchy rash wherever it was applied. My hands were the worst. I even had tiny blisters on my palms.Aaaaanyway, this stuff is great for me. I was looking for the fewest ingredients and chemicals, and this has a very short list, and I know what they all are. It’s a very thick formula, but it is much easier to rub in than most zinc creams. It really kind of melts into your skin, maybe because of the coconut oil. Once it settles in, it doesn’t even feel greasy. I don’t notice a white cast (though I’m also pretty pale to start with). The vanilla scent is subtle and nice.I’m a big fan and will buy this again. The price is reasonable and hey, if it doesn’t set my hands on fire, it’s a winner in my book!
