These were very easy to install, but the screws are possibly aluminum. If you use an impact wrench, it will reem them out and you won't be able to remove them. Pre-drill, and torque by hand with a plain old-fashioned Phillips screw driver.

Needed to make some home-made LED grow lights to get a head start on this years gardening. These 1 meter alum channels worked fine to mount 1 meter lengths of LED strips and provide a built-in heat sink to keep the LED strips cool. Placed six channels side-by-side for each light with the included mounting clips, and had a nice and compact strip grow light.

I wished I had used this technique when I put up my lights 2 years ago. The 6' version is a lot easier to work with than the standard 3'. The main reason is it's easier to keep level and in a standard size bedroom you'll make one cut to the second channel for any wall size under 12'. Now I also did not use the clips that came with it. I predrilled 4 holes in my first channel and just used 1&1/4" flathead screws straight into the drywall to the stud on the wall at the ceiling. There is always a continuous stud there, so it doesn't matter where you put your screw holes. The light strip cleanly fits in the channel and over the screws. I wished they could have offered a thicker milk colored cover but it works. You will see each individual led light through the cover but only when they are lit. Overall...easy to install and keep level.

These look to be made very well there's no defects no issues they are very straight as should be expected. However the hardware is laughable. These are 6 ft strips and they give you two fasteners per. It should come with four and at the very least three. But the bigger issue is the fasteners are not wide enough to secure two lengths together. I suppose they want you to just line them up as close as you can. Instead of giving you a mounting bracket that also holds two ends together. It's quite ridiculous to have such a high quality product and then fail miserably when it comes supplying adequate hardware for installation. Hopefully they fix or address this blunder. If you can find a similar product that has better hardware I'd suggested it, however the extruded aluminum and diffuser are good quality.

I normally use a different brand, but due to shipping times i ordered this one as it scheduled to come in 1 day sooner. These cost slightly less than the other ones i usually buy and the differences are mostly in the milky cover. The covers are thinner (thus leds are seen directly)and more flimsy than i am used to. The cover doesnt snug up once it snaps into the channel. Its so loose you can slide it down the length of the channel with ease, which i am not too thrilled about. I like the covers to snap in and stay snug. Also the endcaps arent too snug either. I ended up heating them up to melt them a bit so they would hold themselves in place without the need for using glue. Overall, for the price i dont have much to complain about. I would order again if i was in a pinch, but prefer to spend a few dollars more for a better quality lense.

Apres une livraison épique ... De bonne qualité apparente, solides, les caches ne sont pas aisés à mettre et les clips de fixation trop peu nombreux (2 par réglette) surtout s'il y a des découpes, alors j'ai préféré percer et visser. Pour moins de 30€ les 6 metres ce ne sont que de petits défauts !
