Great rod
I saw this rod while watching a how to catch crappie video and the host recommended. After receiving my 7ft 2-piece, I was surprised how light the rods were and if they'd hold up. But after fishing with them and catching slab crappie, bluegills and bass yes bass of at least 2-3 lbs. Toss in big mud and gar fish all using 6lb mono and no leader. Great time fighting fish but remember not to try and pull big fish out using this lite rod because it might break on you, instead when close to boat or shore, use the line to hoist the fish out or bend down and grab the fish or use a net. Also match the lure weight with rod specs, if you finesse with this rod you'll love it. Read some reviews about rod is crap and breaks, but I own 4 now if you treat the rod right it will not have a problem and don't forget to set the right amount of drag on your reel.

From Crappie to Pike- its got you covered
Nice and sensitive for the little subtle bites- so sensitive that i foul-hooked a crappie on the flank!Enough back bone to land a pike (pic above) 26 inch long.- i felt it had a little more power left in it vs the pike.cheap cork but a decent pole over all5 stars- cork be damned!**Update**Left my rod/reel on the roof of my car then drove off. fell off my roof at about 30 mph. Rod is fine!!Tough rod, cheap cork (its kinda coming off, may re-glue it)Did i mention cheap cork?Great rod though, Best value ( i'll use this over my fenwick and St.Croix for crappie)

Awesome,a must have!
These are my favorite panfish rods. I own 6, and just got one for my fishing buddy ( he loves it also). But I found my self using it all the time and for different species steelhead, bass, ect. Very sensitive good back bone, all in all a awesome rod. Definitely will not be the last one I have, and I'm going to try a few of their other models very soon!

Absolute Great Rod
This rod works flawlessly. The Cork grips are comfortable, and the super sensitivity allowed me to catch so many fish. This rod seems to have a lot of backbone as well. Highly recommend.
