When the remote arrived, I really did not want to like it. It is 3D Printed and looks cheap. However, this thing works perfectly right out of the box. No issues and you can not beat the price. I LOVE IT! If you are looking for a remote for your Samsung TV you cant go wrong. I highly recommend it. Although it looks cheap, it is well built and you will not be disappointed.

Works well and does not require pairing for compatible Samsung TV’s. It doesn’t have the smart TV buttons like newer models but you can use it to navigate smart TV menus just fine.

DISCLAIMER - I am house sitting and the remote in the guest rom started doing the constant red flashing light so I bought this remote to replace it So as previously stated the remote for the samsung smart tv in the guest room I have been staying in suddenly decided to start doing that annoying red flashing thing that apparently these remotes do after a few years. I looked up the model number and found the replacement BN59 0130a remote (this one) and ordered the least expensive AmazonPrime eligible version. I got it, opened it and for giggles pointed it at the TV and BAM it worked right off. All features, too. I am not saying this is going to happen on with everyone's set but it did with the one in the guest room. It feels a little more light weight than the original but it works just fine.

The reason I am writing this review is because I want other buyers to know that this does not come from Samsung. I ordered the remote quickly in a moment of anger after my roommate's dog ate the one that came with the TV. I did not look closely when ordering because the image looked exactly like the one I am replacing and the model numbers matched exactly. When the new remote arrived, it felt lighter in my hand and had a texture that I did not recognize. I grabbed the old remote to compare. Sure enough, there are several minor differences. The factory remote has Samsung printed on it, the replacement does not. The factory remote says made in Taiwan, the replacement says made in China. There are a few other minor differences, but in reality all that matters is that I can watch Netflix at night again. THE REMOTE WORKS GREAT, I just thought I was buying a trusted Samsung device and not some random knock-off from China. If this technology was anymore advanced than a TV remote I would return it and find the Samsung one. Reason this is not a big deal to me is that there are not really any electrical components inside a remote that could start a fire. Cheap electronics out of China and sold on Amazon are known for having poor wiring and circuit design often leading to failure or fire eventually. Since there are not lithium ion fire starters in this device I am not worried.

I bought two of these, so I would always have a backup available. But primarily so I could keep one next to each chair. Great investment.

Not Samsung branded, but works just as good as OEM. More lightweight, but looks 99% the same. Don't plan on using the backs on the OEM remote though, I had a good OEM remote missing a back and wanted to swap out the back, but they just barely don't fit. But a perfect replacement remote anyway. We keep one or two on hand because we have 4 Samsung tvs that use this remote in little kids rooms that go missing.
