does the camera come with a strap?

Yes it does...however I never feel quite secure with the straps that come included with most cameras. I bought a "rugged" one that is quite a bit wider and the material is thicker, with metal attachment points. I just feel more secure carrying it around my neck with a better strap. The camera is quite good, too.

Would this do well at the back of an auditorium in low light? Also, my hands shake, is there a setting to compensate for this?

No, and no. I love this camera for outdoors, but it has no stabilizer that I know of, and shots taken in low artificial light (made by light bulbs, etc.) turn out a bit grainy.

What type of battery does this camera run on?

4 AA batteries, but it sucks the energy like you wouldn't believe. Always keep spares on hand. It's a great camera, but not-so-great battery life.

No, it doesn´t come. It doesn´t come with warranty. It Just has a manual. My Camera was broken and well..!
