Purchssed this for my 2 4k tv's , one sony KD65Z9D another TCL, it show magic in TCL 4K which is spare Tv. But wondering why not on my Sony may be cos it's 2017 model , i don't know , but it's a must have peice

Good product, it works on my new LG G5 TV. Unfortunately the quite expensive G5 TV doesn't have USB3.0. My max ISP is 1Gb/s but apparently by USB2.0 the speed won't get much higher than 300Mb/s. The current speed is fine but I don't understand why LG (and other brands aswell) don't supply these expensive TV's with a decent(not much more expensive) 1Gb/s LAN connection. Now you would say WiFi6e of which the LG G5 supports is enough. And yes my routers do support 6e they even do WiFi7. But it isn't in some cases. For example if you wanne stream 4K60fps HDR content, which you recorded with your smartphone, directly to the TV it doesn't work. The video will buffer all the time or the bit rate will be scaled down a lot. When you connect the TV to the onboard 100Mb/s LAN connection the TV is just able to handle it. But now with this adapter it goes even better. My guess is WiFi6e still ain't Full-Duplex and UTP is and that apparently makes a big difference.

La verdad es que hace su función, pero por lo visto no con todas las TV, en mi caso funciona a la perfección. Yo veo muchas películas y series a través de plex, y antes con el Wi-Fi o con el cable directamente a la toma de Ethernet de la televisión tenía cortes siempre, fue instalar este adaptador USB y la estabilidad y la velocidad cambiaron radicalmente. Yo tengo una TCL y no he tenido ningún problema, sin embargo, mi vecino tiene una televisión LG. Se compró el mismo adaptador que yo y a él no le funciona, aseguraos de que es compatible con vuestra televisión. Realmente funciona con USB 3.0 y sistema operativo Google. Probado en TV SHARP con USB 2.0 y sistema operativo Google y no funciona, probado también en HISENSE y tampoco funciona.

Overall, I would recommend this device to anyone who needs an ethernet to USB 3.0 adapter.

Fonctionne parfaitement sur une TV Philips 55OLED848, à condition bien évidemment de le brancher sur le seul port USB 3 (celui avec la fiche bleue) et de désactiver le wifi. Je suis passé de 95 Mbps à 866 Mbps (connexion 1Giga). Reste à voir si cela sera vraiment utile pour du contenu 4k.
