I love this yeast. Sick of spending lots of money for little amounts when I can buy this one! It lasts for ever fresh. Great for pizza and bread (my bag arrived damaged, so most of the content was spilled in the outside container, so I got a refund. I used what was left in the original bag and worked great). Will buy again.

I regularly make my own bagels, so regularly need yeast. The little packages one gets in the market are exorbitant in cost. So with this order I get fresh, live, useable yeast that not only saves me there, but also saves on the cost of store bought bagels. I have kept the bulk of the package in the freezer for years, and fill a small jar in the refrigerator for most of this year’s use. It has always worked. Go ahead and bake more kinds of bread with it, or share with someone else. There’s plenty to last for years.

I bought this because I was using a lot of yeast and it’s easy to store. I put it in the freezer in a glass jar with an airtight lid. Take out as I need would recommend.

This yeast is a solid and dependable choice for all my baking needs. It activates well, gives a nice rise to my breads, and consistently delivers great texture and flavor. I use it for everything from pizza dough to homemade rolls, and it hasn’t let me down. I do wish the packaging was resealable for easier storage once opened. But other than that, it’s high-quality yeast that I’ll keep coming back to.

This is the perfect brick of yeast for anyone that bakes a lot. The quantity is accurate and it is good quality.

I'm sure its good for baking but I bought it to flush a few tablespoons down my RV toilet to control odors, it works great for that and also helps to dissolve waste and is a great way to save money from other remedies they try to sell you containing the same yeast and costing 20x more. I used it for decades in my septic tanks when I owned two different homes without a sewage system. 2 ounces in them kept me from calling the septic pump truck to come out clean them.

I still have some and I use yeast every second day. Stuff works great.

Like everyone else, I started baking bread during the COVID shutdown, and I quickly tired of paying for tiny envelopes of yeast that may or may not be available, even at their inflated prices. So I bought this on Amazon. I don’t know HOW, but I accidentally bought two. Pounds. That’s a lot of yeast. I could have recreated the AHS Asylum bread making scene many, many times. Anyhoo - I decanted some into a jar and froze the rest, I just now had to buy more - and it was absolutely fine in the freezer for 4 years (your mileage may vary, obvi). It’s certainly less expensive than the dumb little envelopes, and if something calls for instant yeast, just ignore that and proof as usual.

So long as the price does not start going up IK think I will be purchasing my yeast & other baking ingredients here from Amazon from now on.
