Quo Vadis Habana Journal has a leather-like cover that is soft to the touch and features a matching elastic to keep it securely closed. It includes exceptionally smooth Clairefontaine paper known as the best paper in the world for writing. The 80 blank sheets are 90g, acid-free and pH neutral for long preservation. The binding is sewn so that no pages will fall out and the journal lays flat when open. A convenient pocket for storing notes etc is found inside the back cover. Size: 6 1/4" x 9 1/4".

Fountain pen friendly, but....
It is a nice notebook. The paper is fountain pen frienfly, but does not show ink sheen. There is minimal feathering, but it is present. The ivory color is more like a light butter yellow. If you use colored inks (the yellowness detracted or dulled some colors), inks with lots of sheen or use a flex nib, this might not be the jounal for you.

Very fine paper
I love the quality of the paper in this journal. My fountain pen loves it, too :) I use a Fine or Extra fine nib, and this paper helps me write more smoothly. It is lovely to look at on the outside, too.
