Kinda fun to do with your small daughter
I figured this would be something fun to do with my kid while at the same time ending up with a cute lil panda full of lotion for us (me). It was kinda fun to mix up, and the pandas are definitely cute. The directions didn't give much to go on for mixing the colors ("a couple of drops"). In one picture you can see the outcome of adding 10 drops of blue and ten drops of yellow. In the other the outcome is from 20 drops of blue and 20 of yellow. ...not much different. I hesitated to add any more from fear of watering the lotion down too much. I added about 1/3 the shimmer packet as well but can't really tell after spreading an ample amount on my hands. The smells are basically fruity but not really identified. (The blue is labelled as "blue", the red as "red") You can infer the scents but mixing them ended up as a sweet "fruity" smell. Younger girls will like it but my panda will be my backup lotion for when my preferred brand runs out. My only real complaint is that the colorant doesn't really color, which one expects when a product comes with three bottles of colored drops. Overall, if you want a quick project to do with your younger daughter this will do nicely. Just don't expect your panda and her panda to have different colored lotions.Edit: After going ahead and using the full bottles of scented colorants they do look better. The green still isn't terribly green and kind of oily feeling. The purple looks fine but the orange is basically pink. This leads me to suspect it's the yellow that needs a bit of work. Still, the lotion works fine for it's purpose and it's still a fun little project.

Quick but Fun Bath Craft Set
Got this for my 10 year old daughter who is into all things artsy & crafty. She liked it pretty well and rates it 4 stars. This isn't a project that takes very long, so realize that it's a quick diversion. The set comes with a tub of lotion, 3 bottles of scented color liquid, glitter to add shine to the lotion, and 3 cute little panda bear containers. My daughter wished that she could create the base lotion rather than having it pre-made for her, which would have added a little longevity to the project time. Basically all you do is add the color/scent liquid to the lotion and then put in some glitter. The color scents smell really good, and the finished lotions look and feel nice - and the panda storage containers while cute are also very practical for keeping the lotion for use and preventing messes. Overall a pretty brief but pretty fun little craft set.

Only one lotion kit, not three
I thought I was getting a kit to make 3 body butters, but only one panda container and lotion kit arrived in the box. The activity was fun for my 7 year old daughter who loves pandas, but I thought I was getting more for my money.

Fun Activity!
This is a fun activity for young girls. My 18 year old daughter did this with her 10 year old cousin recently. It comes with everything needed to make 3 little containers of whipped body butter. You can customize them with the color and fragrance and shimmer. While they did have fun with it, I think it's a little over priced. At the time of my review, the set cost $18. For 3 little finished products, that comes to $6 each. You could go the local bath product store and purchase larger sized lotion bottles for the same price. You are basically paying for the experience. It was a fun way for the girls to spend time together.

Questionable Quality
Different but similar product arrived, box printing looks like it was done with a printer from the 80s.

Great kit for kids with special sensory needs.
I got this for my youngest son, who is a special needs child with sensory issues. I try and aim for kits that engage his senses, especially with items that have goopy textures that he has a natural aversion to but tries to tolerate (like lotions - he can have a tough time with those, but has been getting a lot better). I figured this "whipped body butter" would be a fun project, as well as a good reinforcement to being open to exploring different textures. It did not disappoint. While this kit is clearly meant for girls (probably tween aged is the best age group for this), he really had fun with it. You can create body butter lotions that you can tweak and add scents and colors to, as well as add other items to make it shimmery, like glitter. He felt a sense of accomplishment when we were done, as the cute little panda containers were given as "gifts" - one for himself to horse around with, one for Mom (me), and one for a friend (girl) who was excited to receive it. :) The lotion is soft and fun to apply, and the panda containers for them are super cute! This would make a perfect gift for a tween or young girl. This is involved enough that you probably don't want girls under the age of 6 or so to mess with...but at the same time, it's probably something that a teen would roll their eyes at and get offended at you for getting it. I would guess an 7-10 year old would probably be perfect for this type of kit...maybe 11. 12 would probably be stretching it, depending on the girl. If you have a child with special sensory needs, this is a fun kit to enjoy doing with them.Overall - we really had a great time with this, so I feel 5 stars is very fair for this product. Two thumbs up!

Fairly simple kit is fun and a great value
On the front of an entertainment per dollar basis of this kid is a real winner it isn't very complicated to mix the ingredients and customize the included body butter. I want to spend mixed up then the children can have fun applying it and using it. A great way to spend time when you're stuck inside and can't run around outside
