BioAdvanced Brush Killer Plus, Weed Killer Spray, Ready-to-Use, 24 oz, Kills Tough Brush Roots & Poison Ivy

We have had a really wet spring and summer and the Creeping Charlie, which I normally pull out by hand, got way ahead of me so I had to resort to chemicals, which I abhor. I didn't want to use one of those mixers that you had to attach to a hose. I was looking for something to do limited spot treatment. I've used it sparingly on about six square feet--carefully trying to target only the Creeping Charlie--and still have a little left. It didn't seem to do anything for about two weeks, but by a month it had died and decayed and left green grass in its place.

I bought this for the sole purpose of killing a tree of heaven that decided to grow right up against my foundation in my flower bed. I had done research and decided to give this product a try. I sprayed the leaves one afternoon and the next morning I saw they had all wilted. They stayed wilted like that for a couple weeks. I wouldn't say they were dead as they hadn't fallen off and they were still a bit green. I started seeing some new shoots springing up and sprayed them as soon as I saw them. I had read that the key was to spray tree of heaven in late summer/early fall because that is the time of year that nutrients are heading down into the roots. This seems to have worked as at this point there is no new growth and everything looks dead. We will see what happens next spring, but for now it looks like a good product that did what it was supposed to do. A final note is I tried simply cutting down the tree of heaven, but it just ended up shooting up new growth. My understanding with this brush killer it is best to keep the plant alive and spray the leaves so the plant actually transports the poison down into the roots. Based on that, my advice is to do exactly that...spray the leaves and let the plant do the work for you.

It was well worth it. Was very helpful in stopping regrowth. Needed to treat a couple of times. At least, it worked.

This product was effective with killing the surface growth of weeds, but was not effective with killing the root. Therefore, the weeds just grow back again a couple weeks later.

Used on some tuff weeds growing from the neighbors yard along are fence and it really works. Last about 2 months then I need to reapply, but at least it keeps weeds where they belong, not in are yard or fence line. Trust me this stuff works!!!

This stuff really works. Kills poison ivy roots and all. Takes a little time but well worth it

Updated: It did seem to work but it took a week to notice the dead poison ivy and 2 applications. ,,,‐----- Doesn't seem to work. I sprayed poison Ivy and its still thriving.... not good.

I tried a few rounds of the salt, vinegar, and dish soap DIY mix that YouTube recommends. It was working but I wanted to make sure this poison ivy was dead dead. So I bought this and it sped up the killing process and now I can rest easy that my dog won’t be tracking poison ivy oil around the house.
