Low Carb Dixie Bakesquick Baking Mix - Carb Controlled Muti-Purpose Baking Mix

I assumed for the price I would get as much mix as I would from carb quik or some of the other low carb baking mixes I have purchased. What you're actually getting is a whopping 2 cups of mix (notice how they say "2 packs" in the description and then label the amount by weight). The 10 servers is horse manure - they increase the serving count to lower the per serving carbs and mislead as to how much you actually get out of it. I got about 8 medium sized pancakes out of this.It's also a dryer, slightly more bitter mix than either the atkins or carbquik mixes.I haven't been this disappointed in a purchase in quite a long time.

Ok, so it's different from the usual baking mixes and it really is LOW carb. Still, even friends who are not into low carb food like the stuff we bake with it (especially if you don't tell them it's low carb). Found on other websites, sometimes cheaper there. Worth trying.

I bought this as a part of our low carb diet, and THOUGHT it could be substituted for Bisquick......wrong! I tried to swap Bisquick for this stuff in a recipe for sausage balls, and they were awful! Very dry, and I even tried adding liquid! Yuck!

Not sure I can use it for the reason I ordered it as there are no directions for using it as a breading like pictured on the package

im so happy i discovered this. as for taste, wow, and the recipes are very good. you won't be disappointed

This was such an easy product to use. The two packets were the exact size needed to make the biscuts, which were very good. We have tried other mixes, but this one is smoother and the taste is much better.

I'm not much of a cook, but I liked this version of "diet Bisquick" better than Atkins. And if I can make biscuits that taste good from this mix anyone can. Very easy. I should try cooking more often.
