After $100 and a dozen different PTFE-free flosses. This is the definitive winner.
Oral-B Glide is a great floss, but it has chemicals in it which many consider harmful. I wanted an alternative.Unfortunately, all the "healthy" flosses had major weaknesses.Primarily they tend to be too thick to get between my teeth. And I have one tight spot with a crown where it's virtually impossible. The other thing I hate is highly fibrous flosses that leave lots of fibers in your teeth. You have to floss a second time to get the fibers out. And a third to get those fibers out. Do you ever really get all the fibers out?The third major problem is that some flosses break very easily. Obviously makers are trying to balance thinness with robustness, but until now they all err too far on one side or the other. This floss checks all of my boxes. It's actually very thin compared to everything else and slides between my teeth easily when pulled tight. A little loosening allows it to expand a bit and then moving around you can get good coverage on your teeth. Pull tight again to make it thin. This stuff is a bit fibrous (compared to the Oral-B, which is not at all fibrous), but just barely. A little care and it doesn't leave any fibers between teeth. Finally, I haven't had a piece break on me yet, but by the time I'm done flossing it does feel like it's getting worn thinner. But like I said it hasn't actually broken. Still, I try to shift about half way through by unrolling on my right finger and rolling onto my left finger so that I'm now using a new spot on the floss. This also helps to prevent any fraying and the possibility of fibers. All of the other flosses suffered from at least 2 of my three complaints. Some of them managed to hit all three. This floss is great on all three counts. Plus it's free of all the toxic chemicals. Some people have complained about the paper box. The box is convenient and easy to use. Just set it where it won't get soaked and it's all good.Looking at the page now, I see it's temporarily out of stock. Not surprising. I'll certainly be a repeat customer.

Gets stuck between my teeth and breaks
I ordered this Floss because it was PFAS free but it's unusable for my teeth as it easily gets stuck between my teeth and breaks. If one has large gaps between their teeth it may work ok. I guess I'll stick with (Teflon PTFE) Glide. Ive been using it since my WL GORE Sales Rep gave me a sample when they first introduced it in the early 90's. So far at 71 a little PFAS (PTFE) hasn't hurt me (that I know of) and my teeth are in perfect condition.

Don't believe the negative reviews.
I was hesitant to buy this floss at first and I normally never wrote reviews but after using it I was dumbfounded at all the negative reviews. I have used every brand of floss imaginable in my life and all the Oral B and other popular brands are nowhere near as strong as this floss. Most of the negative reviews say it breaks easily. That is malarkey lol. They must have some messed up teeth as mine are definitely not the straightest and this floss very rarely if ever breaks on me. If it does its because I'm using it at a weird angle by mistake. The worst part about popular floss brands are even when it doesn't break it starts to shred. The reason I wanted to switch to a natural floss if the articles about the huge amount of microplastics found in plastic nylon floss. So take it from someone who has actually purchased it and is using it correctly that this floss is as good as it gets.Ps. Don't fall for the all natural label they put on all the floss stick brands. The stick itself is the only part that is natural or made of recycled materials. The actual floss is still nylon. So if you want a brand that reduces your microplastic exposure and is biodegradable you have found it here.

If Your Teeth Don’t Have Gaps, Not Worth It
I saw Paul Saladino say he uses this floss in his latest “home tour” video. I thought, “well, Paul is strict with the items he chooses to use so this must be great floss.”First attempt, the floss ripped 6 times. Second time, floss ripped 7 times. Third time, ripped 4 times. This floss SUCKS! I had to use about 4.5 FEET of floss just to get through ONE session of flossing.I had previously used Glide floss but recently found out it contained petroleum. While that floss got in/out of my teeth smoother, it also ripped a lot; not as much as this floss though. I don’t have gaps in my teeth so that might be the main issue but for a floss that’s supposed to be better for me, I assumed it would be sturdier. Not in my case.

Try vanilla mint but not unscented
We initially got the vanilla mint & were impressed. The floss went between teeth well, even those with tight contacts, veneers, & an implant. I was impressed with the cardboard holders, too. They hold up as good as new to the end being stored in a medicine cabinet & drawer. If you were to travel & pack them under weighted objects then there may be a chance they get a little beaten up. Just don't do that. Initially I was looking for a metal container & refills of floss but none were mentioned by Consumerlab.com to have been tested regarding PTFE content like Radius & others. I chose Radius due to the lowest price among those mentioned & good reviews. Here's where it gets rough (literally & figuratively). When needing another order I saw that the unscented version was cheaper. As there was only a hint of mint in the other kind, we don't need scents or flavorings, & both the vanilla mint and unscented options state that they are coated in coconut oil & carnauba wax I got the unscented floss. There's quite a difference as this one seems close to conventional unwaxed floss. I had to floss slower as to avoid snapping it between my teeth & avoid it breaking which it did my 2nd time using it.So, I recommend trying one of the flavored options & to always compare the prices of each before you reorder, especially if using subscribe & save as you don't get notified if the price is higher than the last time you got it.
