Good quality and perfect fit.
Struts were a perfect fit and easy install on my 1988 Jeep Cherokee Limited. They hold the rear hatch open with no sag or droop.

Difficult to install, but worth it
These were not too easy to install, but after my dad and I figured it out it was pretty easy. My old shocks gave out completely, so he and I had to hold the trunk up as we worked on them. Since I've installed them though, they work everytime and keep the trunk up without slouching.

Didn't even last 4 months
Worked great for about 3 and a half months. Then wouldn't even hold up the lift gate on my 88 XJ. Very cheaply made.

Strong
I've got an older jeep and the back door definitely has some weight to it, and that's coming from a guy that lifts appliances all day for work. But once these got popped in, that door is so easy to use and I love it

Be sure to know how to install them
Im not sure if it was me that i didnt know how to install them or they were just not good enough but they broke on the first try to install them. Maybe i just didnt know how to install

Plastic heads aren’t compatible with 1988 Jeep Cherokee Chief
The strut seems nice until you try to install but the heads on them are too big to fit correctly and they are plastic so they bend under the weight I wish the photos that they have on the item were what you get not cheap plastic
