Esco 70130 Truck Tire Wheel Dolly

I looked into this after putting on 3 sets of snow tires last Fall. Changing tires is not technically difficult at all, but I found that it was increasingly backbreaking. I was looking for a device that would just make it a little easier to positin the tires off and on my 3 mid-sized SUVs vehicle. It does exactly what it is meant to do. When taking it off, I sometimes found the wheels were stuck on the hub. You can use this to jiggle the wheel, making it much, much easier to get off. Putting wheels on is a snap - just line up more or less the hole pattern, and wheel it in. It lifts the wheels an inch or two off the ground to line it up. I highly recommend it.

I'm a truck mechanic and this tool really helps with 19.5" tires. A great feature is the "toes" that keep the tool from rolling when you prop it up against the truck. A good buy for the money.

Made job easier. May not be a everyday tool for a shop, but a few times a year it’ll be great.

At 62, and in decent shape - I find picking my truck wheels with tires up and just putting them on the studs is becoming a little tough.....this IS the tool for that. BUT you must learn the little quirks of maneuvering the whole thing in place - it just takes some practice, and then seems like a GREAT tool. Indeed worth the money!

Works well! I never used one before this. Was a little skeptical if it would hold up. Always used pry bars etc. This makes lifting tires and lining bolt holes up with little effort. I use it mainly for semi tires. Holds up well. No flex or anything and tucks away in the shop easy.

This is for moving wheels w/ rims around. It is a dolly. It is not for helping putting the wheel on a vehicle. It might work on a small car but not on my 2015 Tacoma.

The tires on my F350 weight a lot more than what I can comfortably handle. Instead of taking the truck to a tire shop to dismount winter tires and mount them again on the same rims, I got myself a second set of rims with my summer tires, but the challenge is to replace them myself. It is very heavy work. With the help of this dolly it is child play. Really easy and effortless. I learned how hard it is with the two front tires and was about to take the F350 to a shop to do the other two when I found this device in Amazon, and replaced the two back tires with it. It is great, saves your back, probably your marriage and maybe even your life, as I hear from my doctor that many heart attacks occur when people are doing just that, replacing a tire (mostly on the road, a flat, but is the same effort).

This thing is heavy. Heavy duty, very well built. I can’t believe how well it worked ! I have 33” tall 12” wide mud tires with aftermarket rims. About 80 pounds per wheel. I was really struggling changing tires, doing brakes and anything else that needs the wheels removed. This thing fit perfect under the tires . I only needed to lift the truck 1/2” off the ground and it worked great. The first 3 wheels were tricky to align and get the holes matched up but by the 4th one I got the hang of it. The only downside is how heavy the unit is... it’s meant for semi trucks I believe, but this would be AMAZING if it were made from aluminum . If your back is sore and you don’t want to lift your tires, lever them off with this. I was impressed
