These are top quality 12 V lights that will last you a lifetime. I use these to eliminate all of the palm trees in my yard. The light looks great but it also is a deterrent to crime. I've had good success with them.

Didn’t Think I’d Be Writing a Love Letter to Landscape Lights… But Here We Are I never write reviews. Usually too busy, too lazy, or too annoyed. But these lights? They earned it. I almost settled for some “copper” lights at Lowe’s — and I use the term loosely. They looked like copper the same way spray tan looks like a natural glow. Cheap. Lightweight. Definitely not aging well. Then I stumbled across these solid brass bad boys on Amazon and figured, why not roll the dice? Glad I did. These things are beasts. Heavy, beautifully made, and clearly built to outlive me. Even the plastic stakes are tanks — thick, sturdy, and not the usual bendy junk you get with most kits. One note: bulbs are sold separately. At first, I was like “ugh.” But now I get it — and I’m converted. Built-in LEDs would’ve been a waste on a fixture this legit. These are lifetime lights. You want the freedom to replace bulbs as needed or change the vibe with different colors. It’s a feature, not a flaw. Bottom line: Buy them. Zero regrets. Zero hesitation. Ten out of ten — would install again while pretending to be an electrician.

I purchased this fixture to add to my landscape lighting arrangement. We recently had some landscaping done and we added a "signature" tree and wanted to showcase it with its own spot light. I was able to wire it up, install in ground, and set the optimal angle to highlight the tree. I've only had it for a couple months so it's difficult to rate durability, but just based on the solid construction and the materials used I would say this should last for years without any problem. I'm very pleased with this product.

This is a wonderful light. I was expecting it to come with a bulb, but I found one easily at Lowes. Easy to install. Looks great.

Needed to replace an aging water logged unit that would cost more in repair parts than this new unit. Solid brass medium weight quality construction which appears to be water resistant made the replacement easy. Popped in a 7 watt LED bulb and it provides great illumination for my tree. May end up buying some more as they are a good value and should last a long time.

We are still playing with the placement of this light....but VOLT is high quality!

I've bought multiple fixtures and a transformer from Volt and always been extremely impressed with the quality of every item. These particular fixtures replaced a pair of box-store LED models that died over the winter and that didn't have replaceable bulbs, forcing me to toss the entire units after only a handful of years. Lesson learned--no more cheap fixtures. These spotlights aren't the top of Volt's line, but they're still multiple times better than discount versions. The brass adjustment knobs are well knurled and sturdy, all water entry points are sealed, and the fixture just looks classier than average. Be sure to buy proper bulbs and connectors, as unlike the box-store brands, these don't come with anything other than the fixture, an almost ridiculously overbuilt mounting stake (seemingly designed to keep these things in the ground through even a tornado) and a four-foot lead wire. One note: check Volt's site before you buy, as they sometimes have sales that result in better deals than what you'll get here, even with free Prime shipping.
