SharpVX2128V Portable Desktop Handheld Calculator

This is my perfect office calculator. I wanted something large like the ones that print but I don't need that function. This is ideal, it's large and sturdy with great buttons, easy to press and your fingers don't accidentally hit the wrong buttons. It's easy to use and does everything you need. The screen is huge and the numbers are nice and large and can be seen easily! I love it! Plus, they wanted $20 more for this from Staples, I'm lucky I found it here at this price! Very reasonable.

I like how easy it is to press the keys. I like that the numbers are easy to see even if your vision isn't perfect. I like that you can elevate the top up and it looks and feels quality. However I am not an accountant and I had a hard time learning to use it with all the features it offers. I actually only add lists of things to balance the checkbook, etc. I had to read the manual to understand that the decimal can move depending where you set it and I sometimes accidentally move the part that changes the decimal point.

HAS ALL THE MAJOR FUNCTIONS AND IS THE RIGHT SIZE TO READ AND PUT IN A DRAWER.

Has LR44 battery. Amazon listing states AA.

This is a great calculator for auditors and accountants. The calculator is slightly bigger than regular hand held calculators but it feels like a regular desktop printing calculators. The buttons doesn't feel too clunky or slippery. The battery is easily replaceable by unscrewing a small slot, which you don't need to take the entire back casing to remove the battery. Though the price is a bit high (4 stars), I expect this calculator to last for at least 15 years (For those of you who are picky about depreciating fixed assets).

Works well

Great replacement to the Sharp EL portable/desk calculator I used since 1993 (finally died when inadvertently got moisture under the key face). It was the only calculator I found to have the same functions I was used to using with the calculator it replaced, esp. the answer check function and item count. It is a larger size, good key placement, and has a nice spring feel to the keys.

Does more with features, than I need, but I'm very happy with it.

A truly great calculator for the professional accounts person, having exactly the right size, key-positioning, weight and stability, and solar power-reliability for very high-speed calculations.
