We originally purchased these because they work with our hydroponic lettuce grow system… the spike is long and thin enough to fit in the small cups for each plant. I then purchased more because they are amazing for our houseplants as well. I love the option to stack or connect to make wider.

Great value for the money!I highly recommend having a plan BEFORE you use it. I should have Googled the most beneficial way to use this for my pothos. The trellis causes the plant to lean a bit - not a huge deal.The spikes don’t go deep enough into the soil. Even if it were longer, I would be concerned with the trellis disturbing the root system - no fault of the product.I would definitely purchase this product again. In fact, I’m going to reorder right now.

I used these for my climbing pea plants. They did ok until the plants wanted to grow higher than two stacked. Too flimsy a connection made that impossible.

I have had this product in the past and i like it's sturdy to keep vine plants or tall plants from falling over

I received these next day and wow. They are amazing..I am using them in above ground bed and they are sturdy. So, in general they will definitely hold up in the ground. I am going to order more. BTW..the fact that these connect to each other(if you want) and they connect to the top to make them as high as you want. Great product. Glad I have them.

I used it to support tomatoes and other plants in my hydroponic farm. Worked like a charm.

I actually bought this for my spider plants as their long leaves were sagging over the edges of the pot. But this product seemed a bit bulky so I bought small, circular, thinner trellises instead, which are in two of the photos.I decided to use this product for my aloe plants and snake plant. {photo.} I had been using take out wooden chopsticks to prop up the aloe plant leaves, but this works much better! Also, one part of my snake plant kept wanting to topple over and this supports it very well!While it is a bit bulky for my type of plants and for my taste, it is sturdy and works well as added support for heavier leaves like the aloe plant. Or for plants with more leaves, that can hide the structure more, like many reviewers have used for their philodendron or pothos. The thinner circular trellis is lower profile and blends in better for certain plants, like the spider plants I used those for.
