I purchased this product for installation in a 2010 Mac Pro with an aftermarket graphics card. The cable feels well made and snapped into place as expected. However, it was too long and protruded from the side of the case. When I replaced the cover, the cover pressed the cable into the fan blades of the new graphics card, which made an awful racket. I wound up having to install the cable with a twist, which took up the extra slack and routed the cable away from the fan blades. Everything works as expected with this minor adjustment. However, since this product is advertised expressly for the Mac Pro, I took off a star since the cable is too long for its intended use.

I passed over the cheaper offerings and I was not disappointed by these high quality cables. They have a braided covering which ensures against abrasion should they come in contact with a fan, and their ends are perfectly sized. The heavier gauge used also ensures proper throughput and lowers heat buildup. If you are upgrading your computer to a better video card these are the ones you need.
