I got this for HAM radio excursions but it felt weird and looks weird and I can never get the straps to fit right. All the "raver kids" or whatever have them and it just doesn't feel right. I thought it would be useful but I find myself not wearing it because people look at me like I'm a mass shooter.

I’ve used this for over a year now in search and rescue operations and it has held up incredibly well for the price compared to a Coaxsher. Lots of different adjustment points to tailor it to ones comfort. Would be nice if it had the writing pad option as the Coaxsher, and the shoulder light mount is junk. Overall a good product for low cost.

Paired it with a dress just to be a little different

Solid product and basically a clone of the Coaxsher RCP-1 Pro but at a much lower price point. It's not particularly thick material, but it's (so far) held up quite well for a couple of hikes fully loaded. My only wish would be for some padding on the flat portion that rests on the chest, since I'm carrying some particularly heavy metal things in the main compartment. If you're thinking about such off-label uses, you can do what I did and sew on some quick padding and it should work great for you as it did for me.

A friend has the Coaxsher chest rig and I bought the Abbree at a much cheaper prices. Comparing them they are identical including the fold down writing pad feature. Though that is not advertised on the Abbree, there are two elastic straps on the back you need to hook up. There are three pockets on the front. The middle one is elastic and will fit a number of radios including an FT470. It is however the only one my cell phone will fit. The other ones will fit a UV5R Baofeng radio and similar sized radios. The one on the left is big enough for most radios but the one on the right is too small for larger radios, but will fit a hand held GPS. In my judgement this chest rig is set up to carry one radio, a hand held GPS, perhaps a cell phone. There is also a narrow zippered pouch on the front, not sure what that's for. In addition there is some pen holders and a couple loop straps.I bought this to carry my UV5R while riding my ATV and off road mini bikes. Been using it for 2 weeks and it's worked well.The rear zippered/snap pocket is big enough for a full sized hole puncher. A stealthy way to carry one on the trail. As was mentioned by someone else it would be better if it had a padded back. I simply inserted a thin piece of closed cell foam into the rear pocket. A piece of cardboard would also work and would provide a flatter writing surface if needed. Overall, if used the way it is intended, it is a good piece of kit for a great price.

It is small. It's hard to tell by the pictures, but laterally the 2 outside pockets are made by wrapping-around the velcro to the back side. This allows you to make the pockets narrower or wider. The top and bottom of the outside pockets snap together in front with a snap. Unfortunately, when you unsnap the snap, the bottom of the pocket drops away, and you get to play a little game of "catch" with your radio/phone/gps. I have no idea why the strap that goes underneath the phone is not attached anywhere. If you tighten the sides, you can remove the radio/gps with one hand, but then it is so tight that it takes 2 hands to put it back. You cannot leave the snap undone, as that means there is no bottom support.On the positive, it does have nice pen holders on each side, and the zippered back provides a full pocket for a 6" x 5" map.

This nifty vest will hold up to three HT's at a 45º angle close to the upper chest area. Unfortunately there are no instructions so it's a bit of a challenge to figure out all of the adjustable straps. There is also a hard plastic 'loop' on one of the back straps for which I can imagine no possible use.

Purchased this for when I'm doing filming for productions. This works ok for my GME TX6150 UHF radio and my Ulefone Armor X mobile phone. The back pocket is good enough to carry a little bit of stuff but just think it could be better if it was slightly bigger. Anyway I still like it, it's a cheap model but good enough for me at the moment, you get what you pay for.

It is what it shows in the picture and well worth the money. Two pockets are expandable but the third one is fixed so your limited for what you want in it but a GPS will fit into it.

Seems well made, fits, have not had the chance to use it yet
