Great budgeted meter
Compared to $700 dollar meter and was within .05 of the reading. Great value!

Great product
A great and more product for measuring chlorine in water. It's digital reading takes out all guessing work and it doesn't require sunlight to be accurate in comparing colors for reading. However, it does consume sacks of additives require for measuring chlorine in water, so my advise is to purchase a good amount of sacks to use them in the test. Also, another recommendation is to carry out this test every a month or so, and use other product strips for quick tests.

Simple, effective test
Unlike the HI 729 Fluoride test, this one is really simple. You zero the device using your sample before you add the reagent. You then add the powdered reagent and run the test. I think you have to wait 2 minutes 30 seconds for the results. (Perhaps this just seemed simple after I fully understood how to get accurate results out of the Fluoride test.)

Seems fairly accurate but only come with a few test packs.
I tested before and after a carbon filter. Results were as expected. It only come with chemicals for a few tests. Seems fairly accurate.

Junk.. Worked 2 times, on the 3rd time failed. That's a 1 star in my book
I have to pay for shipping to the manufacture.. Going to have to buy a USPS box and pay for shipping.. It's outside the return window on Amazon which is nonsense. I only need it once a month.. That's typically what these meters are for.. I don't have a reading now for February.. I guess you have to buy 2 in case one fails.. I followed the procedures exactly.. I'm certified in as a water operator and I also program my own software.. So this will be yet another set back. The meter works when it works but as far as durability it is junk.

Works great -- be careful in following the instructions
Works great and allowed me to check that my water is free of chlorine (after treatment) for home brewing. Read and follow the instructions carefully--the unit works by making a comparison of two measurements and if you get a step wrong you have to start over.
