cheap, huge bag, decnt quality
a huge bag full of beautiful black crumble compost. does have some chunks in it, maybe wood, but is a good soil amemdment and at a price that works for a 40lb bag. not sure the composition of the manure or the compost itself, which would be useful to know, but when you have clumping sand naturally and a tight budget, you take the amendments you can get.

Rich, dark soil with chicken manure.
This product was recommended to me by my best friend who is an amazing gardener. This is my first time using it and used it for adding new plants to my garden. I will not know the results for a few weeks. The soil was rich and dark and without odor. If it helps my plants as well as my best friend's plants then it is a winner. I do recommend this product.

This compost is excellent.
Made my flower beds simply enormous. The lilies, hostas and the gladioli flowers became huge and strong. Use when planting bulbs by placing the compost underneath the bulb. Then into surrounding area when the plants become larger. Make sure that you refertilize with this compost when the plants start flowering. Any of these applications will make your plants and flowers grow to their capacity. Huge bag and great value does not stink and is easy to separate and use. I highly rate this product for any projects in one's garden works for indoor plants as well with great success . I have used this for snake plants and they are already growing extra plants within.

Pricey but good product
Dark, rich compost that I put in my raised beds. Smells like manure....duh. great addition to top off the garden. Delivered in plastic, heavy-duty bags that are a bit cumbersome to handle but product is intact.

It is very dark and rich.
I've bought this soil amendment before and I think it is very good and a good value. I am reconditioning last years' soil that I used in cloth bags -- 1 part old soil, 1 part this compost/manure and 1 part coconut coir and it's working fantastically! The last order was last week, and the company contacted me by email and said there was some glitch in how it was being routed, but they were keeping track and on top of it and if it somehow gets 'lost' they will send out another.

Nice stuff
Really nice quality stuff!! Large bag. Very nicely broken down. I started a garden this year and I’m finding that the soil I used is pretty poor and I only used a little compost (different brand). I think I’m realizing I need a lot more compost, at least with the soil I used, which I have realized is pretty woody. I think it lacks a lot of nutrients too so I haven’t had the best success with some plants. So I’m in the process of doing some amending for some summer planting. I think it’s helped so far with some things I recently planted. I also invested in some good fertilizer so I’m hoping for more success going forward!

Helpful for nutrient deprived gardens
My 2nd order! I ordered more after my plants sprang to life from using the 1st bag. This product amends heavy soil deprived of nutrients for healthy plants. After digging out a Yucca plant and its extensive root, there was a gaping hole in the flower bed. I filled half way with broken branches and leaves. Then topped it off with Michigan Peat compost manure blend. By next spring the soil will be ready for planting.
