Thought Provoking
I was really taken aback momentarily just seeing the title of this book because what flashed through my mind was Ego. But then on 2nd thought, I said yeah why not? I have always had the notion that one needs to be looking out for others taking care of others but I have never given much thought to YOU taking care of YOU.And it makes perfect sense anyway; how can you take care of others if you haven’t taken care of YOU first. I mean, the bible said it best, “take out the speck in your eyes first before trying to take out the log in another’s eye” Not sure if that’s the exact words but I was paraphrasing there but you get the pointThe book got me on that one too on Day Three on “Unravelling Misconceptions about Self-Love” Just the problem I had. The author convinced me that self-love is a normal thing just like a father loves his daughter. One should have that same awareness about oneself as well.A really thought provoking book if you ask me. One that drives you deeper into yourself and helps you come to terms with you and yourself.

Greatest truth you'll ever know
Well it's about time I see a book like this! Only in the end of last year that I realized I am responsible for myself. To be more specific, I am responsible for my money and my happiness as well. Not my parents, not my spouse but ME! So how do I achieve complete self reliance and the results that I want, by taking care of myself FIRST! This is the greatest truth you will ever know. You are your best friend. I learned all this the hard way so when I came across this book, I quickly jumped on it. These are the same philosophies you will find in this book. In fact this 21 day program is awesome. I'm personally following exercises by Brian Tracy but I've added this to the mix. I love myself and you should do :)

Get Some Help
Self-love is so difficult to attain. It is one of those things so easy to think about but so hard to get. The book tries to help you with this issue. However, what makes the book effective is it does not tell you what to do, but rather guides you what to do. It is written like a reflection journal where you would be ask to think of a lot of things. This is what I think makes this book effective if you are soul searching.

Nothing you won't find in other books
The same old cliches, nothing particularly helpful. I would suggest looking at other titles, this one was not that helpful.

Inspiring
Ah, just what everyone needs. I'd like to say I love myself, but that would be a lie. I'll have to admit that even after years of inner work, I still have ways to go before I can make such a statement. I believe that lack of self-love is at the root of a lot our problems in life. There's no way I can truly love another human being if I'm incapable of doing to the same for myself. That said, this truly well-written, quick-n-fun read gets inside what it really means to love oneself, and how to go about it. It's a well-structured, 21-day program where you'll be inspired to embark on a truly worthwhile journey with the author cheering you on. There's a lot of good wisdom in here. I highly recommend it!

Amazing Book
Low self-esteem doesn't only stem from high school, whether girls comparing dress sizes or guys being put down due to lack of athleticism. It’s much more serious than this and can have pretty devastating consequences. This book is a very helpful guide to find out if you have low self-esteem. It is doing so by providing a precise and clear statements if one can find himself in any of them then he has low self-esteem and needs help. This book then provides a day by day plan to help you to change your life to live happier and love yourself. I learned a lot from this book and it helped me to change the way I look at myself and start accepting what I am. It is worth the 5 stars.

Basic advice
Very surface. The core is accept yourself well yet give constructive analysis and complement. Forgive yourself. Talk to yourself with kindness. Its good stuff, because its basic. I was hoping for better content. Was disappointed.

you are rendered useless to others and to yourself
On an airplane, in the event of an emergency, they instruct you to put on your gas mask first before trying to help others and children. If you are not getting the oxygen you need, you are rendered useless to others and to yourself. 'Self-Love: The 21-Day Self-Love Challenge' is the perfect guidebook on how to get yourself back on cloud nine.Simple advice is laid out in an easy-to-understand format. I really appreciated the raw logic to this book. Take a look in the mirror and smile again—one gets a sense of empowerment just by reading through the first few pages.

Great step in the right direction
This challenge is perfect for asking yourself some hard questions and getting a new perspective on how you behave around others. It lays a foundation for self-love, which you can start to learn in 21 days, but need to continually practice to enjoy it's benefits. Each day is very short, but has some practical examples and short tasks to help you get going on the path to self-love.

Short a nd Sweet
I liked this book. It was quick to read the daily info, in uncomplicated language and with a dash of humour thrown in. The author makes some very valid points on overly positive or negative thinking , encouraging the middle realistic ground. I've finished the book feeling enabled to approach life differently, more kindly and calm. Thank you.
