I've owned dozens of guitars over the years and this is the first time I ordered one sight unseen from Amazon. My thought was if there was any problem, Amazon is great at working things out. I expected the guitar to need some setup but I was wrong. Straight out of the box, it's a great guitar. Fender sets them up pretty well out of the factory so the play-ability of this guitar is excellent. I feel it needs no adjustments at all. The fit and finish is outstanding and the electronics are very nice. I can find no flaws whatever and the sound is pure Fender. I am quite happy with the guitar. The rest of the bundle is less satisfying. The case, while sporting the Fender logo, is quite cheap feeling compared to the case that came with my American Deluxe Stratocaster. Good enough to protect the guitar? Sure, but it is pretty light weight. The guitar cable is a generic 10 foot cable that is really pretty useless. The guitar strap is paper thin and I would not trust it with even a cheap guitar. The tuner and the picks are nice as you can never have enough of those. There is a 3 month pass for Fender Play which I probably will give to some kid and the instructional DVD included is really for someone who has never picked up a guitar before. So while I am very happy with the guitar, the rest of the bundle is less than what I expected. All in all though, I'm happy with the purchase and recommend this to others.

This is the best guitar I've ever owned. Right out of the box it was perfect. Normally, the first thing I do is take the guitar to have a professional set up done. With this instrument I tuned it and started playing, no set up needed. The tweed case is a Fender Case and classic. In my opinion this is the best value pack you can get. I don't think you can beat a Fender Player Strat.

This was an upgrade for me from the Squier Sonic strat. I didn't have super-high expectations for a guitar that only cost a few hundred more, but I wanted a genuine Fender and the difference is night and day. The pickups are quieter, and every note rings out distinctly. The bridge pickup has that clean jangly Fender tone everyone talks about, and there is more punch when overdriven. The body of the guitar has noticeable upgrades as well, from the tuners and hardware to the choice of wood.To my eyes and ears, this guitar was setup adequately out of the box, and playability is smooth. Action is decent, good intonation, and I didn't notice any fret buzz. I don't plan on making any modifications.Austin Bazaar included a GearLux case loaded with accessories. Nothing was missing. Arrived two days early via FedEx.The Player line is now discontinued with the introduction of the Player II series, so grab one of these while you can. You'll be glad you did.

Fast shipping. Guitar sounds amazing. The case is very nice. I like how they throw in little pieces of accessories. The plus top is awesome, not so boring like the normal flat color. I’ve been looking at the player strats for a while since it was recommended to me as a good beginner guitar that you can definitely grow into as you progress. And I’m glad I finally bought it. Don’t hesitate, get it! and you will not be disappointed!

I just gave it to my son for his Birthday a couple days ago and he has been playing up a storm, He loves it , so far so good. Has only had it a couple days but Everything included with the Bundle is excellent quality and of course All Fender accessories.It was not cheap but you get what you pay for.

The guitar itself arrived in perfect condition and was already in the case. The accessories - all Fender branded were not but maybe they should have been. The tuner was broken and unusable. The case (Fender wooden case in tweed) also withstood some minor damage (scuffs, scratches) but I wasn't concerned. It is a case after all and it did it's job. Overall very happy with the purchase but perhaps some extra caution should be taken when shipping.

Item came in a hard case, which was not expected, but a bonus in my book. Unfortunately, the case was locked, with no keys in sight ! I had to pry open the locks just to get the guitar out. Surprise! The keys are in the storage compartment in the case. Not a big deal, since I wasnt expecting a hard case to begin with. Also came with the gig bag! The guitar itself was flawless. Sounds great, was set up out of the box. Just tune and jam!
