Best body paint ever!!
I went to the Shrek Rave last night and the first pic is is after the rave, and the second pic is before the rave! It looks literally the same as before, and I was sweating and dancing so much! Application: The lighting is a but different in the photos, but you can really tell it didn’t smudge or drip away, but of course I had to bake and seal my makeup. The application was so easy, you just glide the stick on and then blend with either a brush or sponge. I found a brush was good for the base coat, and then a sponge was great for the contour and little details. I was surprised at how much product was still left over by the time I was done. A little goes a long way with this stuff, and this is green so I can only imagine a more pigmented color such as dark blue or a nice red would just glide over the skin. I did have to apply two coats but that’s because I didn’t put enough on the first time… I was feeling a little nervous haha. Regardless, it was super easy, took me like an hour to get ready to leave. Some other oil paints are a pain to even apply evenly, but this stuff is literally like magic. Seriously. A big fluffy blending brush is all you need to make yourself look airbrushed and fantastical. Clean up: I would say it’s very easy to wash off, and so far I haven’t had any issues with it staining and I use white face towels! My skin didn’t stain, and I was especially worried about SMEARING. I usually encounter a problem with smearing while cleaning off oil based paint, but this stuff came right off with some warm soapy water. However, I want to mention I am a SWEATER!! I literally sweat like I am damp from jumping in the pool with all my clothes on, and yet this paint still lasted me almost SIX FREAKING HOURS!!!! HOLY COW Y’ALL!! Side Note: I have extremely sensitive skin and I was worried this would irritate me, because some other popular brand name oil based paints usually bother me extremely, but Mehron does not bother me one bit. No itching, dry skin, burning eyes… no watery eye boogers, no acne flare up, nothing!! Mehron even offers a sensitive skin option but I don’t feel the need to opt for that since their original formula is already so gentle, yet long lasting and resistant. Overall: Amazing and excellent pick if you’re wanting an oil based body paint. Incredible application, looks brilliant and the color is fantastic, and the clean up was delightful. I can not wait to get more colors and do more fun looks. I am relatively new to cosplay makeup, but this is a product for beginners AND professionals! Anyone can use it and make it look good with just a little bit of know-how. Thank you Mehron for making such a valuable product!

Homestuck cosplay without the mess!!
Used for troll cosplay! I was sollux and my buddy was terezi. Tldr; The coverage was great, the staying power was great, the price is awesome. I absolutely recommend this! For the nitty-gritty: We applied this after using an elf primer, and used nyx setting powder, and the urban decays all nighter setting spray. PLEASE seal it!! This is a cool grey, with a lot of blue in it. If you are cosplaying as a warm-blooded troll you will have to mess around with color theory to make it work. As sollux I added some orange to my cheeks as well, because the yellow alone looked like tennis ball green over this grey. It took a couple coats of makeup to ensure full coverage, at least 2, but I think realistically, 3. We then used black eyeshadow for contour, and white mehron for highlight, over the grey. The mehron grey and white were both applied via sponges, all other makeup was done via brush or finger. It was easy to blend the eyeshadow into the grey for a natural-looking face. We also used eyeshadow for the blush, and that worked well. I suggest using a powder over the eyelid, especially if you have deep set eyes like me. We used grey and THEN applied any color over that. And lots of primer. We both had to wear glasses, and throughout the con I took off my glasses and put them on many times in order to see well and give my eyes a break, and the makeup only removed a little bit. I am not a sweaty person so this helped. My glasses did not have nose-pads. My friend had nose-pads and sweats more and she lost a lot more makeup in that area. She also had a little bit of a sheen of skin my lunch time around her cheek, but it was easy to touch up.

Good, But Beware: Does Not Fully Dry Down
I didn't have time to remix my Mehron Paradise cakes for this convention, so I wanted to get a face paint that actually came in light grey for my Homestuck/Hiveswap cosplays. It's a positive-leaning mixed bag, so I'll break it down. My routine for just the paint is primer, paint, set with powder, and spray with Ben Nye Final Seal. PROS: - Application: Given its format as a foundation stick, it goes on a thousand times easier than any water based cake. No accidentally wiping off the layer below, no streaks, incredibly blendable. One layer is usually good. Sometimes you can see through it but it's very easy to just set the paint and then add a little more on top. - Touch-Ups: Because it never fully dries down, if you need to touch up, it's super easy. For both these cosplays, I had glasses, which meant in those spots on my nose it rubbed off. It was really easy to just take a brush to the stick and fill in those little gaps. - Blending: Very easy considering what we're working with. It's better to tap/dab things on than to wipe because, as it does not dry down, you can wipe off the paint by rubbing at it too much. The brushes I used for my eyes and contour did get a little grey while i was applying the makeup, but they all cleaned up fine with a little brush cleaner from elf. I also think that having that little bit of grey on the brush helped blend everything better. CONS: - It never fully dries down. This is why I said beware. This is NOT something you should put on parts of your body that aren't your head or your neck. You WILL leave cream paint on everything you love. If your paint makes contact with clothing, it WILL leave spots on it. You can scrub at these with a makeup wipe sometimes and that helps if it's fresh. I haven't done a full thorough scrub on the makeup brush I used to apply this paint, but so far my attempts have been pretty futile. This also means that you can see skin spots on your eyelids if you blink sometimes. - Removal: I've found it's a bit more difficult than water-based face paints. With them it's a pretty quick scrub with my cleanser and I have almost all of it off. With this cream, it takes about 5-10 minutes of scrubbing with cleanser to get a good amount off, then you have to go back and scrub with a makeup wipe. This can't be removed with just water. Overall I will definitely use this up - it's a good paint. But I may look into alternatives for the future, maybe something that sets a little better.

Best cream makeup
Perfect shade of pink for my Princess Bubblegum cosplay. The product is so pigmented and covers so much with so little. It is easy to blend in, and does well with other products sitting on top of it.

Full coverage, lasted well, hard to remove and will stain
Mehron paints never let me down! This color ("Blue") was perfect for my last minute Mystique costume. It's more ultramarine blue than in the pics; my phone camera tends to not pick up bright colors well. It's a great match for her color in "Days of Future Past". It's thick, it's blendable, and lasted pretty well despite me not setting it with powder. It doesn't fully dry down though, so I was very shiny lol. You should definitely set it with powder, I just didn't have time. There's no strong chemically smell, and you can't beat a stick for ease of application. Very pigmented and opaque, as long as you don't smear it around too much it's pretty full coverage, I only used one layer. It does absolutely transfer even if you sit it with powder. It DOES STAIN, however. I used a good makeup remover to get as much off as I could last night, then showered this morning and washed my face with a deep cleanser, and there's still some slight staining around my mouth and eyebrows. It is difficult to remove. Even with the makeup remover I had to scrub pretty hard because of how thick the paint is. If you have sensitive skin, you won't have a good time lol. Overall these sticks are worth the money, although I was a bit shocked that after a few years since I bought my last one, I came back to find the price of these paints had more than doubled. I bought a white one a few years ago and I believe it was around $7, and I paid $17 for this one. That being said, they work great and I'd absolutely recommend them for a good face paint.

Not the greatest but not the worst
This facepaint is a good temporary replacement for when you run out of more better quailty facepaint but there's a lot of issues, it's harder to apply and takes a very long time to dry, when you think you've waited enough time, around 20 minutes, and go to apply another layer, it's not ready and comes right off, if there's even a slight drop more than it needs when adding another layer of the paint, the original, dry layer becomes wet and comes right off, not great when you're walking to an convention for even 5 minutes and break out in sweat. It is very easy to wash off at least and it doesn't feel patchy or itchy, nor does it make you break out.

Great base, definitely get a good setting powder!!!!
This is amazing for costumes, it doesn’t make my skin feel thick, it has a weight like a regular foundation. I should’ve gotten the mehron setting powder because it does transfer (as expected) and it will collect in areas (my neck primarily). The coverage is great, I didn’t have to do any extra passes and the consistency is kinda like lipstick but feels light on the skin. It came off pretty easy with my ELF makeup remover balm but it will stain your skin a bit, I had a pink tint to my skin after removing it (that’s expected it’s bright red) but using witch hazel and cotton pads helped take the leftover tint off!

Wonderful Product
Im so impressed with this, its pigmented but also buttery smooth and hydrating, easy to blend, sets nicely with translucent powder, buildable in layers and best of all it feels like and smells like absolutely nothing which is such a sensory relief, will definitely be recommending this to friends!
